Great stay
Pros:

Very charming placing with a very confortable room and a charming host. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Austria and basing yourself in Spitz is ideal to visit Wachau Valley.

Pros:

Der Barockhof liegt im Zentrum von Spitz aber trotzdem in ruhiger Lage. Der große dazugehörige Obstgarten kann als Liegewiese genutzt werden. Liegen werden vom Haus gestellt. Das Apartment im 2 Stock ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ein Aufzug ist vorhanden. Die Möbel und die Betten sind bequem. Die Räume sind hell und freundlich. Es gibt auch eine Küchenzeile, Geschirr und Töpfe sind vorhanden. Bad und WC sind getrennt. Alles war bei unserer Ankunft picobello sauber.
Einziger Nachteil: das Schlafzimmerfenster geht zur Frühstücksterrasse - es kann daher bei schönem Wetter laut werden. Bei dem Apartment kann das Frühstück optional dazu gebucht werden. Wir haben diese Option nicht genutzt. Der örtliche Spar Supermarkt, die sehr gute Eisdiele und Lokalitäten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Ausreichend Parkplätze sind im abgesperrten Garten vorhanden. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, eventuelle Wünsche werden gern erfüllt.

Tolles Frühstück mit regionalen Lebensmitteln. Sehr guter Kaffee. Freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Sauberes und gepflegtes Appartment. Schöner Garten. Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Supermarkt, Fahrradverleih, Schiffsanlegestelle, Cafes, Heurigen, Wanderwegen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, prima Lage in einem natürlichen Garten mit vielen Obstbäumen. Barockes Anwesen mit gemütlichem Ambiente. Ideal um die Wachau zu erkunden. Haben uns sehr gut erholt. Großes Apartment mit Blick auf den Garten und die Donau. Sauber und bestens geführt.

Tolle Location für Aufenthalt in der Wachau!
Pros:

Sehr herzlicher Empfang. Schöne helle Wohnung mit Blick auf die Donau. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Gute Tipps der Hausdame zu Zielen in der näheren Umgebung. Sicherer Parkplatz. Die Lage ist perfekt, da zahlreiche Restaurants und Wirtschaften zu Fuss zu erreichen sind.

Wonderful location, staff and facility…a “don’t miss experience!”
Pros:

Wonderful location in the middle of a pear and apple orchard and neighboring vineyards. Petra was an exceptional host who helped us organize wine tastings.snd a lovely dinner. The hotel is lovely and the outdoor terrace is a wonderful plus! Thank you!

Cons:

Our apartment was great but the kitchen was a bit limited in size and equipment. However the overall experience of the property more than made up for any shortcomings. Would definitely stay here again!
