Good location, good environment, good price
The breakfast is a bit off 5 star standard
The location
Well, I expected more of the place since it featured a 5 stars, which is a value given probably 10-30 years ago
Now a day I’ll say it’s a 3 stars, specially regarding the breakfast I would recommend it
The need room was really Great and big
Breakfast can be improved a little bit

Rating: ⭐ 1/10 – One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had
I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was unbelievably bad and people deserve to know the truth before booking here.
First of all, this place feels more like a military camp than a hotel. The rooms they gave us were not in the main hotel building but in a separate, isolated building about 500 meters away from the main facilities. This meant every time we needed to leave or come back, we had to walk a long distance just to reach a car or Uber.
The worst part was the soldiers controlling the entrance. They would not allow cars or Uber to reach our building. Every single time we wanted transportation, we had to stand there waiting while a soldier tried to call some officer for permission. Sometimes we waited more than 10 minutes, and many times they simply refused to allow the car. It felt humiliating, like we were soldiers waiting for orders rather than paying guests in a hotel.
One of the people with us had just come to Cairo for a major surgery and could barely walk. Despite explaining this many times to reception, nothing changed. No solution, no permanent permission for cars to reach us, nothing. Only promises and apologies that led to absolutely zero action.
Several staff members said they were sorry and wanted to “meet and discuss,” but honestly we didn’t need discussions — we just needed basic respect and a simple solution, which never happened during our entire stay.
This situation repeated multiple times and caused real stress and physical difficulty for the patient with us. Paying guests should never be treated like this.
Honestly, Booking.com should seriously review how a place like this is listed as a hotel on their platform. This type of experience damages the trust travelers have in Booking. A hotel must treat tourists with professionalism and respect, not like they are entering a restricted military zone.
