10/10 Stars – Our Home in Milos!

We stayed here for three wonderful nights, and honestly, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would gladly give 10 out of 10.

Our experience started with Domna, the first person I communicated with regarding our stay. From the very beginning, she was warm, professional, incredibly responsive, and always available to answer every question and accommodate every need. She made the entire process effortless and welcoming.

When we arrived in Milos, the hotel's driver was already waiting for us at the ferry port. He picked us up, brought us to the property, and personally guided us to our room. What a perfect start!

The room itself was everything we could have hoped for—spotlessly clean, authentic, comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, a beautiful bathroom, and a lovely balcony where we could relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

One of my favorite memories was waking up in the morning to the sound of a charming rooster. We later met this handsome golden-brown gentleman walking around outside. It was authentic, peaceful, and exactly the kind of local character that makes a place special.

And now I have to mention something that still makes me laugh: apparently, a guest once complained about the rooster. A rooster. In a beautiful, authentic Greek island setting. That is like going to the sea and complaining about the waves. Some people are simply impossible to understand! For us, the rooster was part of the magic.

During our stay, we also had the pleasure of getting to know the wonderful team: Niki, Nini, and Sophie. They were kind, welcoming, professional, and genuinely cared about making every guest feel at home.

After traveling extensively throughout Greece and experiencing many hotels, accommodations, and levels of service, it was refreshing to find a place that combines quality, class, authenticity, and genuine hospitality all in one. That combination is rare.

This is not just a hotel for us—it is our home in Milos.

Our stay at Thalassitra Village Hotel was truly wonderful, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

From the very beginning, the team showed exceptional kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Despite the unexpected changes to our travel plans, they were incredibly understanding and accommodating, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay.

The hotel itself is absolutely charming, beautifully designed with authentic Greek character and great attention to detail. Our room was excellent, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and featured a lovely balcony that added to the overall experience.

What impressed us the most was undoubtedly the breakfast. Everything was freshly prepared to order using excellent quality ingredients. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced and reflected the care and passion that the team puts into every aspect of the guest experience.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le personnel de l’hôtel toujours disponible, de très bon conseil pour nos visites. L’établissement est très paisible comme une petite auberge, nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à l’extérieur sur les tables mises à disposition par l’hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et réalisé à la demande.

El hotel es precioso, como un pequeño pueblito griego.
Niki, la chica a cargo del hotel es maravillosa. Nos ha ayudado muchísimo! No teníamos coche de alquiler y ella nos ha alquilado uno perfecto por un precio estupendo. También nos ha organizado la excursión en barco por la isla. Siempre disponible para cualquier duda, muy simpática y cercana.
La habitación muy espaciosa y súper limpia.

It wasn’t as advertised in the glossy Milos brochure .Our deluxe suite was fairly basic and overlooked building works . It was on a dusty road into town . The lady in reception was very kind but it was very untidy with workmanship tools and children’s toys . We decided not to stay there and moved elsewhere to stay for our holiday
