Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location
Pros:

It was our third stay at Fosshotel along our Iceland trip, and it was the best one. Surprisingly we got upgraded to a suit, and it was absolutely amazing!

Cons:

A hot tub could top up the facilities, but besides that everything was wonderful.

Un hotel en un enclave único
Pros:

El sitio donde está vimos auroras el primer día.
El paisaje de alrededor es impresionante y la habitación muy amplia y la sauna que es gratis un puntazo.
El desayuno muy bien también algo caro pero lo normal en Islandia.

Prima maar personeel is niet behulpzaam.

Cons:

De volgende ochtend lag er een dik pak sneeuw op de parkeerplaats. Prima, kan zijn want het is en blijft IJsland. Het is alleen dat het personeel er niet netjes mee om ging. Wanneer er een sneeuwschuiver zou komen wisten ze niet en zijn daarom met andere hotelgasten de auto’s gaan uitgraven. Het personeel kwam niet helpen en bleef vanuit binnen toekijken. Je zou verwachten van zo een groot hotel in IJsland dat ze hier wel beter mee omgaan.
