All of it
Only 1 key for room. Sharing was hard.
The cup restaurant, except it needs to open @7am instead of 8 am also should have coffee for early risers
Smell like sewer, and bathroom was too small
Here for a concert
No elevator
Full of history and flavor.
250 for a night is insane pricing even for a nice place like this. May you be judged as high as your prices are.
location, music, food was great
bed was not very comfortable nice sheets but bed was old spring mattress that did not do well on the back, no tv in room which understand with age of place but for price maybe consider
Historic hotel. Great onsite restaurant.
Excellent location
Can be a little noisy with music venues downstairs.
Check-in and check-out were quick and friendly. The Cup Cafe was convenient and tasty. My room was charming, and the location allows easy access to downtown and other spots. I loved the historic look of the hotel.
This is less a negative than a caution. There is no elevator in the hotel, which makes it non-compliant with the ADA. In addition, my bathroom was so tiny I literally had to squeeze past the sink to get to the shower. If you have mobility challenges, this is not the hotel for you. Another word of warning: when I arrived around 11:30 p.m. on a Friday night, the downstairs was PACKED and a DJ was going strong. There are several bars / saloons in the hotel, and there is music every night of the year, sometimes live, sometimes a DJ. The desk clerk was very kind and clear to tell me the hotel does not give refunds for noise. If you want quiet, choose a different hotel. I was told I had one of the quieter rooms. My bed literally vibrated with the amped-up bass until 2 a.m., both Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, there was a cover band that did a great version of Creep. I was ready to listen to them (from my room) well into the night, but the music stopped at 9:30 that day. I wasn't particularly bothered by the noise. I mean, I found it all pretty funny. But if you're a light sleeper, this isn't the place for you on weekends.
The location is great, lively nightlife, walking distance to entertainment and many restaurants. As they state it is fairly noisy but really not bad. It's quaint, old and fairly small rooms but all that is disclosed, no surprises. Cool bit of history.
Again no surprises, they carefully and fully disclose all the quirks of the place, so read it and if it fits your style then no worries. The various amenities, bars, restaurants etc. seem to be independent so there is no room charging available.
Beautiful historic property. Well kept.
It’s noisy. However this is expected given that several music venues are down stairs and across the street which they make you aware of. Honestly with some ear plugs I slept like a baby!
Excellent vibe! The aesthetics, from the history to the music venues to the cafes, it's all great! Very, very enjoyable.
Some of the staff seem like they truly can't be bothered. It's a little rough after a really long drive & work stress.
Breakfast was really good. Very convenient as it was right in the hotel.
Beds are too tall. I am very short and had to jump to get in bed. I couldn't reach the bathroom light. Shower was dripping all night long. I did tell the manager.
It’s downtown location.
The noise, but I knew going in.
