早餐時間太短
For those not familiar with car motels in Taiwan they're often used for short term stays, noticeable by working girls in the some establishments and condoms next to the bed or in the room with a lot of adult movie content. This means they can charge by the hour, and check in for overnight guests always late at night. If you're expecting normal 'hotel' hours, you may be better off looking elsewhere. Just FYI as I noticed a lot of reviews complaining about check in times, which are clearly stipulated as part of the booking process.
+ Spacious rooms, clean (with air con, dehudifier AND air purifier in room, after check out I noticed many rooms were ventilated with industrial fans) The dehubdifier and air purifer can be turned off at night and the emergency exit signs aren't too bright. No window in the room apart from frosted bathroom one so excellent for sleep in darkness. In fact the whole hotel is pretty dimly litoutside your room for maximum discreetness (super dim hallways to the restaurant area and super dim undercover driveway area to the parking space under your room) I didn't notice the driveway feature till the next morning upon checkout when I was expecting there to be sunlight opening the garage door! The motel is well designed in this aspect allowing both garage and main building access which is pretty cool and convenient for buffet breakfast next morning!
+ Comfortable large spa and basin in room, somewhat separated toilet and shower area (by a door) and a nice steam sauna feature in the shower (so blissful)
+ Large TV, clean parking space downstairs if needed
+ Friendly female staff (except for some of the cleaning staff they were a bit abrupt and strangely I didn't see any male staff at all but I felt more safe this way)
+ Courtesy call and clear instructions around grace period if you're close to check out time (12pm), I suspect hefty potential fees if you stay much past this compared to a typical hotel
- By international standards I feel the buffet breakfast could've been a tad more hygienic, but for Taiwanese standards its more than sufficient. Everything still looks super clean and presentable with perishable diary under ice. I just felt some of the foods could've been kept warm better (not just the congee and their 'signature' pork mince which actually is pretty yummy (and fatty)! The restaurant lady was helpful and it was a quiet morning so a lot of the dishes were very lukewarm/cold when I attended breakfast.
- For around $2500NTD a night it wasn't the cheapest being a tad away from the airport (they don't advertise it being close to the airport so it's not their fault) but worth it for such a clean and still newish room. There's not much around the area so you'd have to specifically order a cab or drive
