We had the most wonderful stay at Torri E Merli, the buildings and rooms are absolutely perfect. In a brilliant location close to Lakka, Loggos and the best beaches. All the staff were wonderful and friendly, the breakfast was perfect. Apostolia was the most amazing host booking us into the best restaurant and sorting everything for us including taxis, boat hires and an atv - she went above and beyond. A perfect holiday, we can’t wait to return. :)

The breakfast was fantastic especially the Greek yogurt with walnuts and Honey. The Hotel manager made us so welcome nothing was too much trouble. She went out of her way to look after us. Best we have been looked after on holiday.

A very disappointing experience.
The hotel was once beautifully renovated, and the physical buildings and landscaping are nice. That said, it is somewhat soulless, lacking in any service (intrusive music always playing quite loudly). Some of the rooms are v big but without purpose, eg a kitchen with no cutlery etc, outside quite a lot of the plants have died. We had two rooms: the double room was extremely dark and felt subterranean.. there was no light and the ambience was therefore very depressing with a glass partition to a damp bathroom.
There was a lack of care to many details: no glasses in room; no bins, some of the plugs were hanging out of the wall. The wifi completely did not work in any of the rooms, and if you got a connection it was brief - frustrating for things like checking in our return flights. The shower was designed such that water sprayed all over the floor. The curtains in the room were single pieces of cloth hooked onto a sort of nail which gave minimal cover. (The air conditioning didn’t always work). We went as a family with a request for our rooms to be close together - they were very far apart.
My main issue though was with the management, staffing and feel of the hotel. There were generally no staff around at all during the day, no bar or restaurant with a person in it - the whole place was shut up much of the time; no ability to order a drink. The pool we were told only opened at 11am, and closed at 7pm and the manager was very quick at 7pm to tell you off if you were in it at this time.
Breakfast was extremely disappointing and somewhat chaotic. It sort of was like a buffet except that you had to ask for a lot of things. The toast was supermarket bread, the fruit was meagre, the cakes were all out of a packet, it was really a great let down. I have never known such a spartan breakfast in a hotel at this level.
The manager was defensive and did not embrace feedback. (She did give helpful advice about taxis etc)
I had the most wonderful stay in Paxos, and this hotel truly made the experience unforgettable.
From the very first morning, surrounded by ancient olive trees and the golden island light, everything felt serene and inspiring. The rooms are beautifully designed, combining elegance with comfort — so perfect that you feel you could sit down and start writing a novel.
The ambiance is magical at every hour of the day. Whether it was enjoying a quiet breakfast in the garden, or returning in the evening to warm, golden-lit interiors, the hotel offered the perfect blend of relaxation and sophistication.
The location is also ideal, giving easy access to Paxos’ highlights, including the breathtaking Erimitis cliff with its famous white rock face glowing at sunset.
Overall, my stay here was flawless — a true haven on one of Greece’s most enchanting islands. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and a touch of inspiration.
