Pros:

Nice location and the manager was very kind. He made recommendations for places to visit and also took us so that we didn't get lost. The room was really spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Spacious & full of character
Pros:

We loved our stay in this character historic building. Our Queen room was very spacious & comfortable. Our host was charming and helpful and served us a delicious breakfast in the adjoining café. We were next to the Temple of the Tooth Reliic and close to the lake and other places of interest. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer to experience more in Kandy.

Cons:

We had a bit of an issue with the drainage works outside making access a little tricky. But this is a temporary thing and will not be a problem once completed.

Very clean but missed the scenic views
Pros:

The rooms are very clean with plenty amenities. Is very close to the big temple

My room had no windows. Woke up to a whole dark place.

Service with a smile!
Pros:

Communication prior to arrival and during our stay was great. The hotel was situated very close to the Temple and other attractions but also very quiet at night. The room was very comfortable with a king size bed (great pillows) and a sofa, Sri Lankan and Western breakfast including coffee was delicious, and the shower was great! Would definitely recommend staying if visiting Kandy.

Lovely big rooms close to the temple
Pros:

Perfect location to visit the temple. Big rooms ideal for a 1-2 day stay.

Cons:

It did not bother me but it is a bit noisy because of the vicinity of the temple.

Comfy stay in central Kandy
Pros:

The rooms were beautiful and extremely comfy, great location for walking around central Kandy. We had an issue with the aircon, the manager promptly moved us to another room. Breakfast was lovely and served in the adjoining coffee shop.

Pros:

It’s located in the most prime location just opposite to the famous temple of tooth relic (Buddha temple)

Eatery joints , Kandy Lake, City centre Mall everything is walkable .

Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We tried both it was really good and yummy 😋

Fabulous
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay at Heritage Boutique Hotel. The location is fantastic – right next to the temple on a quiet street, and within easy walking distance of the temple, the lake, and the city centre. It was perfectly situated for exploring while still feeling peaceful and relaxing.

The room was exceptional – without doubt the best we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka, and possibly one of the best from all our travels. It was beautifully decorated with charming period Kandyan features and incredibly spacious. The bed was so comfortable we genuinely didn’t want to get up in the morning! The bathroom was equally spacious, with a powerful shower, excellent water pressure, and reliable hot water – such a treat.

The service was outstanding. Our host, Sahan, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and truly made our stay extra special. His warmth and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

We would absolutely choose to stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Cons:

We would have preferred a pool, but we completely understand that due to the property’s space and central location, this isn’t possible. It certainly didn’t take away from what was otherwise a fantastic stay.
