The hot tub room option is definitely the way to go!
Pros:

Clean, affordable, and very friendly staff who gave great restaurant and coffee shop recommendations. The hot tub was a nice touch—perfect to cool off during the day and warm up at night. No bugs despite having windows and doors open. Breakfast was simple but good: arepa, queso, eggs, and fresh fruit.

Cons:

More fans or AC would have helped since the bedroom is on the third floor, but it cooled down enough at night for a comfortable sleep.

Comfortable family guest house
Pros:

Friendly staff in a great location, beautiful buildings, gardens and a comfy bed.
Open to feedback and despite speaking very little english, keen to try and communicate and make our stay as nice as possible

Cons:

It wouldn't put us off, but the WiFi was poor and dropped out frequently
So not for digital nomads!

Feiner familiärer Aufenthalt im Dorf mit tollem Bluck auf die Kathedrale.

Die Lage im Dorf hat uns gut gefallen. Eine sehr gute Kommunikation mit Don Mario, dem Besitzer.
Wir hatten die Suite in der ersten Etage. Schöner Blick .
Ein kleiner Innenhof zum durch atmen..
Das Frühstück ist einfach und ausreichend. Freundliches Personal.
Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Very pleasant.
Pros:

Cool property with character. The view from our room on the second floor was really pretty; Jardin is so nice. It was quiet too. People working there were really nice and attentive.

Cons:

The bathroom needs an upgrade. Very little hot water but not a deal breaker.

Personnel sympathique et prévenant.

Cons:

L’eau chaude de la douche est un peu capricieuse.
Des rideaux occultants dans la chambre seraient appréciés .
