HORRIBLE
Pros:

This was, without question, the worst travel experience I have ever had, across all countries I’ve visited.

From the moment I arrived, the staff openly mocked me, loudly, shamelessly, and without a single trace of respect. It wasn’t subtle curiosity, it was blatant, repeated laughter directed at me because of my skin color. One of their colleagues even admitted it and told me he had asked them to stop laughing, yet it continued.

We still went through with the check in, hoping things would improve. They didn’t. Even at that stage, the experience was abominable and absolutely not up to standard.

Let me be clear, being different can attract curiosity, and that’s human. But there is a line. You can smile, you can observe, but you do not laugh out loud at someone in such a humiliating, degrading way, completely disregarding the impact it may have on them.

It is unacceptable to work in tourism if you are not prepared to welcome people from all over the world with basic respect. What I experienced reflects a serious lack of emotional intelligence.

An apology message was sent afterward, but the damage was already done. I left in tears and didn’t even stay a single night.

Even the most beautiful place in the world means nothing without respect. I would rather receive a warm welcome in a modest place than face such disrespect in a palace.

On top of that, the hotel is extremely far from the city center, which only adds to the inconvenience.

I strongly advise anyone who values basic human decency and respect to avoid this place. Also take the time to read the reviews by sorting them by most recent or lowest rating, you will quickly see how many negative experiences are hidden among the overall score.

L ensemble n est pas à la hauteur de ce qui est promis et de ce qu on attend.
Pros:

Pas grand chose de positif. Très éloigné du centre et de tout. Les petits déjeuners sont très chers et pas copieux du tout. Le cadre est sympathique mais ça ne fait pas tout.

Pros:

Fun room & bathroom fitout, organic tea was a nice tough, beautiful garden outlook. We only stayed 1 night, though we ate here a couple of times. Nice glass noodle salad in the restaurant with a magnificent view over the river & sunset. Attentive staff.

Great spot! VERY friendly staff. We will be back.

The restaurant was excellent. The access to kayaks was good. It was very quiet with lots of places to relax and the views of the river and mountains were beautiful.

Cons:

The trade-off for solitude is that you are quite far away from the city of Kampot. This means a little extra time is needed to book transportation or to request Grab food for delivery. Not a lot of grocery options nearby so, again, you have to plan ahead if you want extra food and drink.

Pros:

Two of us staged in the family room and the downstairs bed was really comfortable. When it wasn’t too busy down by the river it was lovely and chilled.

Cons:

The hotel lock the outside gate at 10pm every night but lock in with a padlock from the inside, they provide a key to unlock it but it’s so difficult to do from the outside and they need to update this ASAP.
There’s only 4 sunbeds available but a lot more guests.
A lot of mosquitoes in the room so they need mosquito nets around the bed as we got bit a lot during the night

Un service irréprochable. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Mention spécial aux 3 personnes qui nous ont accueillies avec le sourire Ly, Niza et Musy. Le site est exceptionnel, le restau extra. Prêt de kayak sympa. Un enchantement. Ce n est pas loin du tout de la ville de Kampot: 10 /15 min en tuk tuk, un trajet agréable. Merci pour tout

Was comfortable and location suited my needs.
Pros:

The tree house and view, it was what i was after and it was away from the busy part of town.

Cons:

i am sure the bed linen was not changed and some one had slept in it, i did take some photos. that was on one side of the bed as i was tired and had arrived late I slept on the other side telling myself its not a five star and I will survive and it is not life or death situation.

Notre chambre était au niveau de la rue parfois un peu bruyant le matin.
Quelques animaux habitants sous le plafond très bruyant le soir malheureusement les aléas des logements sous les tropiques!

Pros:

Het ontvangst is voortreffelijk, het personeel is heel vriendelijk en persoonlijk.
Het eten in het restaurant is heel goed.
Voor een paar dagen zit je hier heerlijk aan de rivier.
Verwacht ondanks dat geen 4 sterren locatie. Er hangt een chille vibe, de boomhut is helemaal leuk en ligt tussen de (mango) bomen.

Cons:

Voor wat je krijgt vind ik de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding een beetje uit balans en had ik een andere verwachting.
De kamer is heel klein en ik miste een koelkastje.
Wij waren er 4 nachten wat ik zelf een beetje te lang vond.

It was wonderful to relax by the beach.
It's rare to find a single room that can comfortably fit 3 people so we were very grateful.

Cons:

Whilst not the fault of the resort those seeking to book should be aware of mosquitos. Not hundreds but there are a few. This can't really be avoided in these types of tropical areas.

Lots of very steep stairs and unless I missed it I could not see a lift. If those seeking to book are of limited mobility I would keep this in mind.

Pros:

Excellent accueil. Personnel gentil et compétent.
Menu de repas limité. Emplacement éloigné du centre: il faut choisir entre le calme et la proximité du centre-ville.

Schöne kleine Oase am Fluss
Pros:

Die Anlage war sehr schön, das Frühstück lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren wunderschön.

Cons:

Etwas abgelegen von Kampot. Aber mit einem Tuk Tuk oder Roller geht es.
