Will not book again. Very uncomfortable - Did not get any Sleep

The Hotel is very tired and needs to be brought into modern times. Charging over £100 for pure discomfort

We were there for a family wedding , with several family members staying , we and had a private bar but staff kept disappearing so we were kept waiting 15 to 30 minutes for a drink. Rooms need updating, not enough plug sockets , Baths are very narrow with showers over them , non slip surfaces in the baths are worn so very slippery when showering , no anti slip mat in the rooms, apparently these are held in reception so you have to ask for one but this is not made clear, Both myself and my brother in law slipped and fell in the shower as a result . also you have to pay extra £5 per day for parking which is unreasonable when you are paying £130 for a low grade room.

Pros:

Refreshing to to see happy staff, Bridgewood manor obviously know how to treat their staff, it makes such a difference, Grace, Billy, Katie, & Josh, all deserve to be acknowledged for their professionalism & cheerieness.
We did nearly cancel due to lack of jacuzzi, but so glad we didn't, the hot stone bed certainly made up for it. My brother in law is in a wheelchair following a stroke, he said he would like to stay again, so that is a major endorsement 😀🤦‍♀️
