Мы выбрали эту виллу как ближайшую приемлемую к башне - опоздали, башня закрылась, решили остаться ночевать поблизости. В целом номер подходит для разовой ночевки. Просторный, кровать с балдахином мило выглядит. Белье и полотенца чистые. Персонал очень дружелюбный. Приготовили нам омлет на завтрак и какие-то лепешки из доширака, разбудили, дали с собой бананов. Рядом есть супермаркет и несколько кафе.
Из моющих средств был только кусок мыла. Очень шумно в номере от дороги - крыша как будто прозрачная, ощущение, что спишь в палатке на трассе. Горячая вода в душе быстро кончилась, второй постоялец домывался уже холодной.
The staff are the best. They will do anything for you. They helped us with are visit to the tower and transport plans. Breakfast was lovely.
The Wi-Fi is slow but that might not be their fault due to the recent cyclone and damage to communication lines.

Dies ist ein ausgesprochen schönes, solide gebautes Haus mit geräumigen Zimmern. Ausserdem wurden wir sehr gut bewirtet mit einem traditionellem Essen. Zum Abschluss gab es einen grünen Tee aus der hauseigenen Teeplantage serviert vom Manager persönlich. Es passiert selten, dass man so persönlich und zuvorkommend in einem Haus - das einmal einem Plantagenbesitzer gehört hat - empfangen wird.
Die Unterkunft ist etwas weit ausserhalb von Kandy, so dass sie eher für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise geeignet ist.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. It was well located to get to Ampuluwawa tower!

Manager was very kind and helpful.
They were not going to give any. But then they did, and it was tasty. The house and furniture were beautiful.
I booked from USA via Booking.com. I thought I paid with a credit card and got a confirmation #. I exchanged emails with Mr Asoka. He asked about our food preferences for dinner and breakfast. But when we arrived he said I had not paid, he would not provide food, they could not deal with Booking.com, we had to pay in Sri Lankan rupees, he would not give currency change.
My sister & her husband said that there was one narrow blanket for the 2 of them, they had to use the shawls they brought.
Our tour guide ordered Appam from outside, and then Mr Asoka's cook made good curry. He was hugely uncaring about our basic comfort.
Friendly and professional manager, with helpful staff. The perfect location which is motorable and easy access. Delicious food and tea preprepared at the hotel are organic and grown at their own gardens. Since there are only five rooms it is comfortable as less crowd always. Felt like home away from home.

It quite close to the main road, so you hear the traffic. But because the villa is on a hill you don’t look at the traffic.
We stayed here for 2 nights as a base for exploring Kandy and Nuwara Eliya and couldn’t have asked for more.
The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are so welcoming. The pool is a wonderful new addition - it was great to have a dip after a long day of sightseeing. But the best thing has to be the food. They ask you what you want to eat and then cook it for you. It was absolutely delicious and by far the tastiest food we ate during our whole two week holiday.
The nearby Ambuluwawa Tower is well worth a visit (if you’re not scared of heights!) and make sure to ask the manager, Asoka, about tea - he’s so knowledgeable and passionate about it! He did a tea tasting for us which was fascinating.
We’d definitely stay here again.
It was close to the Ambuluwawa tower and a Hypermarket in walking distance. The bed was comfortable.
Although on the website said that dinner could be booked, we were told there would be no dinner. When we headed to town to find it, people were having dinner in the dining hall.

Worst food
The location all though 20 mins from Kandy it was very peaceful. The room was very spacious, 4 poster bed , plenty of storage lovely rain shower, plus the tree house. The food was very good local , the staff were amazing made you feel at home. The Manager was very personable and did every thing to help you.
The bathroom just needed a few hooks to hang your wet towels up on !
