A wonderful place, very central and still quite. A charming boutique hotel. I had a very spacious room, perfectly clean. The food in the two restaurants is very delicious.
The internet was not always very stable but in the end good enough for essentials, also for virtual meetings.
The property is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made a big difference throughout our stay.
We especially liked the spacious layout, the amenities on the property, and how comfortable and clean the apartment was. It felt secure and well-managed, which is always important when staying for an extended period.
The only downside of our stay was the mix-up with our booking. We had reserved the penthouse for our stay but were instead given a 3-bedroom apartment. While the apartment was still spacious and comfortable, it wasn’t what we had specifically chosen, which was disappointing.
However, despite that mix-up, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and would still recommend the property to others looking for a calm and comfortable place in Uganda.
Exceptional. A 5 star amenities. Great helpful and welcoming staff. Mary will greet you with a big beautiful smile. Staff are all professional and eager to help. They will go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. Breakfast is wonderful. The view from the rooftop bar and restaurant is amazing. I had such a great time. I will definitely stay at Zara garden hotel and appt. on my next visit.

Staff
Someone came into my room while I was sleeping at 1AM did not nock nothing when I creamed he left…it’s only when I went to said they were sorry. No one came to me beforehand to explain that there had been a mistake about them coming into my room. I had to go and complain first before they apologized. If I hadn’t said anything, they obviously wouldn’t have said anything either. I was so scared that I couldn’t sleep until four in the morning.
Enjoyed my stay and the staff are so welcoming

I liked the lady at reception. She was very helpful and welcoming.
I get that it was New years eve but guests weren't allowed to view the fireworks unless they paid ugx 250,000 for a pre planned buffet and a "surprise band" ( all the great entertainment was already booked in Kampala, it was more an up and coming band which is all good just don't over promise and under deliver). The bar and kitchen were also also closed during this time so you couldn't get service.
During my stay I counted 3 help stuff, 2 bell boys and one lady Birungi who picked up my room service calls and delivered the food. She was also the one they called to the bar that one time I went and waited for 30minutes after having tried calling from my room.
Their "Black forest" cake is anything but that or I was served stale cake. The food is like the hotel, pretty and shinny on the outside but no substance and or quality i'm afraid.
I liked the breakfast and the staff were super friendly
