This place was perfect!! Forget Vienna and Berlin and Prague and other tourist spots nearby, this delightfully charming hotel in Fehring, Austria is the place to spend your holiday! The room was spacious and adorable, the scenery and gardens were breathtaking, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome like part of their family during our stay! I'd highly recommend this oasis of loveliness to anyone in the area!!
I only wish we could have stayed longer!! We'll have to come back for a longer stay next time!
Apartment-hotel run by a lovely couple! They were very accommodating when I arrived several hours ahead of schedule. The apartment itself was nice with a little balcony overlooking the property. Would happily book again :)
The family room is very spacious and comfortable, the kid bed in antresole is a great idea for older kids. Owners are really nice and they kind of follow you around when they see you, always making sure you are comfortable. They sell a lot of stuff there: knives, dog leashes, clothes, jewelry- you name it. Definetely not a problem if you forget anything from home! You also get a price list with all things available for consumption in your room, like 1,50 eur per one tea bag or 1,50 eur per one coffee capsule.
The hotel is not accessible with a stroller, so it was a challenge to go for breakfast with a baby- we had to put her in a car seat and put it on a chair. Definetely take a baby carrier if you come with kids younger than 1,5 years old, there is lots and lots of steps everywhere. Also, I would not really call it a hotel and definetely not a 4 Star one- it is nice for a guesthouse though.
