Location was fantastic, close to the beach. Family atmosphere, perfect for kids. We really enjoyed our vacations here! Michail and Kiki are wonderful hosts!
Such a great place to stay. Couple blocks from the water and many food choices.
Owners are a joy to be around! And very helpful!
Layout of building is exactly what you think of when you think of Greece.
Sehr nettes und bemühtes Personal. Probleme werden sofort gelöst. Ein defekter Wasserhahn wurde am nächsten Tag ausgetauscht. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, richtig zum Wohlfühlen. Weiter so 😀
Badezimmer könnte eine Renovierung mal ab.
On our first holiday to Santorini the Irigeneia was a beautiful hotel nestled in Perissa. We had easy access to the beach, less than a 10 minute walk with loads of shops and restaurants dotted around. The hotel was quiet and the family that ran it are so kind and helpful! We had breakfast every morning which had a variety of food - cereals, fruit, pastries etc. The room had everything we needed - safe, fridge, hairdryer, toiletries. We were also able to arrange taxi pick ups from reception which was very helpful to get to Thira and the airport!
We loved our stay and hope to be back one day, thank you Kiki and family 🫶🏼💙
Personale in reception molto gentile e disponibile, camera grande e confortevole.
This is a small, family-run hotel, but the rooms are spacious and the ones we were in on the ground floor had nice patio areas. The furnishings are outdated, but functional, which was fine with us, but pickier travellers might not consider this a 4-star hotel. The people who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very basic, but filling. It's a short walk to the famous black sand beach, and there are lots of restaurants nearby.
This is a wonderful family hotel. Great time. Near the sea, private and non-private beaches, many restaurants, shops. The geolocation is great. Cleaning every day. I liked everything very much. The breakfast is delicious and filling, Wi-Fi. Attentive and helpful people work here. Help with transfer, with taxi. The best price! Always in touch by mail and WhatsApp. I recommend to everyone! It's very calm, nice and safe here. Thank you!
It was just our speed. We had a great room with an amazing view. It is an easy walk to the beach, bus station, and lots of restaurants. The hotel also arranged for our airport and ferry transfers which simplify our travel immensely.
A big thank you to Kiki for her kindness, her welcome and her patient. His wise advice allowed us to discover remarkable places, very good restaurants, and good ideas for our days. The hotel itself, without being on the sea and the beach, is 3 minutes walk away and everything is nearby. The rooms are very good (excellent value for money). The breakfast without being extraordinary is good. We had a great stay. We will be back.
Erigeneia hotel Santorini - Very basic amenities but clean and comfortable. Lovely and quiet but the area around can do with a face-lift. Near the beach and public transport though. Some lovely restaurants on the beachfront. Nice quiet area. I liked it because I do not like noisy evenings. More a place for older guests or for those who want a quiet relaxing place after exploring busy Santorini.
Breakfast was very basic, but there was enough to eat. I feel they should have more of a variety. The hosts - husband and wife team, were very friendly and helpful though. They moved us from a room with a double bed - to a family room (triple room) since two beds were requested at time of booking.
Great hospitality, couple run business and both are great! At first we were like where are we looked like we were in the middle of the dessert but it turned out to be a great area and service with a nice small tasty breakfast. The room itself was ok bed and breakfast feel, beds ok pillows decent they had a safe, mini fridge, balcony outside the hotel. Shower was really small which is probably only downside as the water sort of went toward the sink and toilet bowl they also had a blower too. To be honest the hospitality service was great too. The hotel is away from most tourist attractions but the bus is close by 5 min walking distance and was a very nice Coach bus with great seats for $2.50. The area also has some Gems like Black Beach and another Red Beach as well as local convenience stores, restaurants and pizza place close by. We rented a car which also was nearby and Kiki arranged that they would bring the car right to hotel and drop it off there too for $50 Euros for the day and she told us where to go and best place to eat which we loved and went back 2x it had a garden within it and near all the shopping area. We also drove all over the island to Oia, Fira to the Light House and saw the Blue Domes. So overall it was a good stay and we do recommend this hotel and area Perissa was pretty cool.
Great location! Family operated. Lovely people.
The shower and tap is saltwater.
Owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful.
Missing of a swimming pool, but I already knew that before booking. Will be nice if they can add a pool to their premises.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast very good, the bed comfortable, and from my room there was a nice view towards the mountains on the back of the hotel (which I really liked especially for my night readings). Air conditioning perfectly working. The location was very good, two steps from the Perissa beach.
Although some cleaning was made every day, I didn't understand why some tissues were changed while others were not. Moreover, the shower curtain is quite annoying as water often goes on the floor. I'd change it with some rigid plastic shower box. This would also spare some work for the cleaning lady.
