Aufgrund des schlechten Frühstücks ist diese Unterkunft nicht zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war sehr originell, die Zimmer waren schön.

Cons:

Das Frühstück entspricht nicht dieser Preiskategorie, kein Büfett, Wünsche wurden abgelehnt. Angebotenes Gebäck war alt und vom Vortag aufgebacken. Der Verwalter war überfordert und nervös/hektisch.

A special experience
Pros:

To stay here was a very special experience, we absolutely loved it. So much thought has gone into creating such a stylish, interesting and comfortable environment, it's very relaxing. The breakfast was very good, we really enjoyed it.

Cons:

It's not something we didn't like, but something for others to be aware of. Pack an overnight bag in advance otherwise you'll be like us with your suitcase open in the parking area trying to find what you need!! There are a lot of stairs and because of their age they are worn. We didn't want to carry heavy cases up to our room.

Een unieke locatie met een rijke historie.
Pros:

Het was een TOP locatie, mooie ligging en prima service vooral dankzij Sampath die heel gastvrij, warm en zorgzaam was!!! Compliment voor hem

Cons:

Heel jammer dat het een hotel was alleen voor de nacht en ontbijt. Overdag kon je wel op je kamer zijn maar er waren geen faciliteiten als bijvoorbeeld koffie, lunch, thee of diner. Daarvoor moest je bijvoorbeeld naar Klagenfurt. Ook jammer dat we de heer Bauer niet hebben gesproken om hem bijvoorbeeld te kunnen vertellen dat we een portret van graaf Goess tegenkwamen in de Osteria del Conte in Klagenfurt.

Pros:

Soggiornare e dormire in un castello è una vera esperienza da provare. In più la presenza di Ernst rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole e simpatico. Posto consigliatissimo.

Cons:

Le camere sono ricavate all'interno di quella che è una dimora storica, quindi bisogna prima considerare questo. L'unica cosa che ammodernerei sono i bagni, ma considerando il preambolo si capisce la difficoltà.

Grazie per averci fatto vivere questa esperienza Ernst.
Pros:

Siamo stati benissimo. Il posto è veramente stupendo, abbiamo avuto la sensazione di vivere un'avventura sceneggiata da Tim Burton. Una struttura magica gestita dal castellano poliglotta Ernst e dal suo adorabile amico a quattro zampe Gary. Svegliarsi vista laghetto e rientrare la sera in un castello illuminato è stato davvero fantastico, a tratti fantasmagorico.

Historische Burg mit traumhafter Natur-Kulisse - sehenswert
Pros:

Im Zimmer einer Burg zu schlafen vermittelt eine besondere Atmosphäre, vor Allem, wenn diese von Wäldern und Teichen umgeben ist. Die frische, kühle Luft in der Nacht, die wunderschöne Aussicht und der traumhafte Sternenhimmel bei klarem Himmel bedeuten im Hitze-Rekord-Sommer 2026 Erholung pur. Die Betten waren bequem, das Frühstück liebevoll zubereitet, das Zimmer sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Es gibt auf der Moosburg viel Interessantes zu sehen. Es ist bewundernswert, dass man weiterhin Anstrengungen unternimmt, diese schöne Burg zu erhalten. Pörtschach am Wörthersee ist übrigens nur 6 km von der Burg entfernt.

Fürstlich Gemütlich!
Pros:

Die Ruhe und die Behaglichkeit des Schlosses Moosburg hat uns innerhalb kürzester Zeit sehr zum Entspannen gebracht. :)

Das Frühstück ist wie versprochen reichhaltig und die Mitarbeiter:innen sind authentisch sympathisch und bemüht.

Um das Hotel herum lädt die Natur zu herrlichen Spaziergängen ein und bietet durch die Nähe zum Wörthersee auch eine attraktive Lage.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. :)

Cons:

Wenn man Angst vor Spinnen hat, sollte man vielleicht nur im dunkeln lüften. Denn auch diese haben Gefallen an der Burg gefunden. (Wir finden zurecht!)
