Comfy cabaña
Pros:

Nice cabañas, it’s clean, comfy and rustic. You can hear the monkeys at night. All employees were so nice and helpful. Great point was the restaurant opening early and closing at 23:00, life saving when you come back late from a tour. It was great value for money.

Cons:

Maybe what was a bit uncomfortable was that the bathroom had no real door.

Geweldig hotel middenin de jungle
Pros:

De ligging van dit hotel is fantastisch! Elke nacht hoorden we de apen in de jungle rond het hotel. De tempel is op 30 min lopen (of een paar minuten met één van de busjes). Het restaurant is prima. Het zwembad is prachtig.

Cons:

Tijdens ons gehele verblijf van drie nachten werkte de WiFi niet. Dat is echt niet van deze tijd. Betalen met creditcard konden we daarom ook niet. Handdoeken aan het zwembad waren prettig geweest.

Cons:

De eerste Kamer die we kregen stonk naar schimmel en in de kasten was het schimmelig. We mochten alleen voor meerprijs in andere kamer.
Er was geen internet waardoor het boeken van tours lastig was en je daarvoor naar het dorp moest, onhandig als je geen auto hebt.
Geen plek om water te vullen.
Prijzig restaurant, eten weinig bijzonder.
Locatie ligt net na de ticketverkoop ingang van Palenque, je moet dus stukje terug om tickets te halen.

The location is perfect for visiting the ruins, and it’s easy to find. Hearing the howler monkeys throughout the day was truly special. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay didn’t live up to the setting.

The room was damp, the shower ran out of hot water quickly, and without a curtain or barrier the water flooded the entire bathroom floor. The photos online make the room appear much larger and more elegant than it actually is. The pool is run down. Restaurant service was consistently slow, with staff forgetting our orders and food taking a long time to arrive.

The WiFi was down for our entire stay, and because the hotel’s card machines rely on WiFi, payment wasn’t possible without trying multiple alternative methods. This turned into a stressful and time‑consuming process. Although the hotel did waive the additional fees caused by the online payment platform’s high conversion charges, the overall hassle overshadowed my birthday and made the stay feel unnecessarily difficult. For the price, it wasn’t worth it, and I would not stay again.

Perfect jungle stay
Pros:

Absolutely superb stay in the national park. Monkeys roaring all the time! Super clean, super nice room. Staff was very helpful. Really good restaurant.

Cons:

During my stay wifi was broken, on the other hand, i had 3 days of digital detoxication in the jungle

Pas pratique pour les voyageurs sans vehicule

La propreté de la piscine où la crème solaire flottait a la surface

Nous avons été assez déçus par l'emplacement, pourtant magnifique, en plein coeur du parc national (raison de notre choix). Toutefois, pour visiter le site, il faut retourner à l'entrée du parc à environ 2km, pour repartir dans l'autre sens pour l'entrée du site archeologique à environ 5km. Bref, si votre but est d'arriver tôt sur place, choisissez un hôtel dans le centre-ville, cela vous permettra de gagner du temps et de choisir les restaurants qui vous plairont et correpondront à votre budget! Sans oublier que chaque activité proposées par l'hôtel, ainsi que les taxis sont nettement plus cher que dans la ville...

Pros:

Buono il ristorante e la posizione vicina al sito archeologico di Palenque.

Cons:

Sono dei bungalow molto vecchi privi di qualsiasi comodità. Mancano comodini, non c'è una porta che chiude il bagno dalla camera e entrano animali all interno.
Mancano anche le prese elettriche, in camera è presente una sola presa.
Il bagno non ha alcuna dotazione se non una saponetta.
La piscina è inutilizzabile, acqua torbida e sporca.
Noi non abbiamo avuto internet per tutto il soggiorno e in quella zona i telefoni non prendono.

Solid! Great service, facilities need fixing up/updating.
Pros:

The staff were excellent (esp. Gracie). Food is good. Location is beautiful--close to the archaeological zone and surrounded by wildlife. Excellent guide on site you can schedule tours with (Carlos).

Cons:

The window screens were broken so bugs could get in if you want to leave the windows open. The mattresses were hard. Our sheets were clean but had pretty noticeable stains.

Mitten im Grünen
Pros:

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mitten im Grünen mehr oder weniger direkt vor dem Eingang zu den Ruinen (wobei die Tickets ca. 1 km entfernt gekauft werden müssen). Sehr nettes Personal, schöner Pool. Gerne wieder.

Para volver y sentirte como en casa.
Pros:

Definitivamente el trato del personal, hasta ahora un hotel no había tenido tanto personal amable. Las cabañas son hermosas y la comida divina.

Cons:

Lo único es que deberían ponerle un poco más de amor a los años dentro de las cabañas, están algo simples para no decir feos, son cabañas rústicas tan hermosas y entonces le pusieron a los baños la peor cerámica que encontraron, una cortina sujetada con un tubo de gas y llaves y duchas de acero de las más sencillas. Creo que con un toque, cambiar la cerámica por cemento pulido y poner llaves negras o más elegantes , poner una madera a sujetar la cortina o dejarla en un ambiente abierto, poner piedras en el suelo de la ducha haría las cabañas mágicas
