We felt very welcomed and at home there. Ebensee is beautiful and the hotel is exceptional

Pros:

Excellent location central to the Austrian lakes. Easy day trips to Alpine sites, Salzburg, and plenty of hiking options.

Very good and generous breakfast.

Several reasonable restaurants are walking distance to the hotel, including the hotel's own restaurant.

Comfortable rooms.

Sehr schöne Wanderwege, Öffentliche Anbindung

Cons:

Traunseetaxi kannst vergessen: trotz schriftlicher Bestätigung für 10 Uhr war um 11 immer noch keines da trotz 3maligem Anruf. Wie soll ich am Langbathsee ein Taxi bestellen wenn keine Netzverbindung vorhanden ist? Man sitzt dann praktisch fest!

Příjemné ubytování na krásném místě, ideální jako výchozí bod pro výlety.
Pros:

Ubytování jsme si moc užili a byli jsme spokojení. Hotel je na krásném místě a je skvělým výchozím bodem pro výlety do všech směrů. Velkou výhodou je také parkování přímo u hotelu. Snídaně byly fajn a dostačující, jen je potřeba počítat s tím, že se jejich složení každý den prakticky nemění. Poslední den byla snídaně nejlepší a výběr působil o něco pestřeji. Celkově ale hotel určitě doporučujeme.

Cons:

Jediným větším nedostatkem byla bezpečnost balkonu – jeden ze spolucestujících si při chůzi po dřevěné podlaze zapíchl do nohy vyčnívající hřebík. Došlo k menšímu krvácení a situaci jsme nahlásili na recepci.

Ein großes Lob geht an den Frühstücksservice!
Auch der abendliche Restaurantbetrieb verdient ein solches Lob.
Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen eignet sich das Hotel.

Cons:

In unser Zimmer (mit einer großen Fensterfront) fiel den ganzen Tag Sonne. Die Vorhänge waren aus dünnem Stoff, der weder abdunkelnd noch wärmeisolierend war. Es war trotz eines Ventilators unerträglich heiß im Zimmer. Abends/nachts konnte man zwar lüften, aber der Verkehr auf Parkplatz und Straße verursachte ziemlichen Lärm.

Gutes Hotel, nettes Personal, werde wieder kommen.
Pros:

Das Personal war bemüht ein gutes, glutenfreies Frühstück bereitzustellen.

Cons:

Es hat alles gepasst. Einziger Wermutstropfen: das Bett war für mich (1.88 m groß) etwas zu kurz. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre ein Schreibtisch schön.
