Lives up to it's name
Pros:

The staff were friendly and polite.
The gym and spa facilities were exceptional especially the red light therapy bikes.
Beautiful location and resort gardens.
The Masai warrior dance evening was unique.
Customer care manager was very engaging and genuinely interested in improving the guest experience.
Nice fresh breakfast spread with custom eggs. Homemade peanut butter and jams were a treat.
Transport services were easy to organize and vehicles in good condition with safe English skilled drivers.
Overall a wonderful experience was had.

Cons:

Intermittent power outages. This was not the resort's fault and credit to the resort for having a backup generator.

Gran hotel, mejor equipo humano
Pros:

Habitación amplia, cómoda y muy tranquila, perfecta para descansar. La piscina es grande y cuenta con acceso directo a la playa, lo que suma muchísimo a la experiencia. El desayuno bufet es variado y de gran calidad, con opciones para todos los gustos. Y, por encima de todo, el equipo humano: un staff de 10 que cuida cada detalle con una dedicación y cercanía que marcan la diferencia. Solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento tanto para el lugar como para las personas que lo hacen especial.

Fantastische plek en hele vriendelijke mensen!
Pros:

Mooie accommodatie, veel verschillende mogelijkheden om jezelf te vermaken denk aan gym, pooltafel, dartbord, kayak, poolbar etc. Bij de receptie kan je elke dag een schone handdoek lenen voor bij het zwembad of strand, als je klaar bent lever je de handdoek in en wordt deze gewassen. Uitzicht op het strand was top en je kan gelijk de zee in lopen vanaf het terrein. De mensen zijn heel aardig en zorgen dat je helemaal kan ontspannen tijdens je verblijf. Kamers zijn ruim en hebben goede airco. Er wordt elke dag schoongemaakt als je dat wilt. Het eten was heel goed en genoeg verschillende opties qua eten en drankjes. Het hotel biedt ook verschillende activiteiten aan op Zanzibar dus daarin ook mogelijkheden genoeg.

Cons:

Als je van plan bent veel te doen buiten het hotel, ligt deze op wat afstand van de grote toeristische plekken. Stone town, spice farms, boot tours zijn meer dan 30 minuten rijden met de taxi. Wellicht iets om in overweging te nemen maar verder niet vervelend.

No justifica el precio
Pros:

Es un sitio tranquilo y acogedor. Es bonito y el staff es agradable. La limpieza está bien. El gimnasio muy bien.

Cons:

Necesita algo de mantenimiento. Fuga en la ducha, azulejos rotos en la piscina, el cesta de fruta para el jacuzzi destintaba, el colchón de la cama muy incómodo (intuyo que demasiado viejo), la playa no es la mejor…La experiencia no fue muy mala, el principal problema viene en la relación calidad-precio. Si fuera un hotel económico puede ser una buena opción. Pero después de continuar mi viaje por la isla con dos hoteles más (Riu Palace y Gold) por los que pagué un precio muy similar, no puedo ponerle una nota mejor.

Supongo que estos hoteles más grandes pueden llevar a cabo estrategia de precio más agresivas en temporada baja y para un hotel pequeno es complicado competir. Pero no tiene sentido para mi el precio de este hotel si por el mismo precio puedo tener experiencia en otros diez veces mejor :(

Not worth it. We went to Aldiana, spent some more but it was a paradise I’d go back there for sure.

The flowers. Nothing else

Super small. Nowhere to go. Beach full of algae, we couldn’t even enjoy it. The pictures were beautiful online but once we arrived the beach was smelling so bad and you couldn’t get in the water…. Really disappointing. Food was very poor. The portions and price was not good. Food itself was okay. They serve you breakfast (included in the price) and it was mostly veggies, pastry, and 1 meat.. curb your expectations. We came here for a honeymoon retreat so we wanted something more luxury. That wasn’t it. If you’re looking for some cheaper location just to stay there then maybe 🤷🏾‍♂️
