Perfection attained
Pros:

There is nowhere I have ever traveled where a small team has made such a supreme effort to attain "perfection". From the personal welcome, meet and greet, familiarisation and settle-in, to the noticeable touches ... this is a surperb destination. My room, immaculate for four days, ice bucket filled, fresh fruit, turn down with choc on pillow ... attention to detail lacked nothing. Brekky was superb. Personal, personal, personal ... all the way. Wow!

All too short a stay
Pros:

Immediately following booking I received a pin drop from the hotel, on arrival we were met by 3 members of staff and given a tour of the very expansive property while Albert took our luggage to our room where a glass of sherry awaited us. The room was wonderful with a lovely balcony area and view over the sea and mountains.
Such excellent attention to detail from truly wonderful staff made our short stay really delightful.
We could not recommend this boutique hotel highly enough and would have loved to have stayed another few days.

I think the hotel should be advertised as a B&B, as I think at present it’s misleading.
Pros:

The hotel is lovely and clean and great sea views.
Good secure parking and you feel safe as well.
Breakfast was good, albeit a bit slow but that’s due to everything being done fresh for you.
Staff are nice.
Pool area is nice but small with only 4 sun loungers.

Cons:

When turning up we asked about dinner that evening to be told that you have to have booked by 10am on the day and the restaurant was very busy already. As we explained that nothing is mentioned in the booking details, or the text that they sent sending you their pin location and welcoming early that morning, we were surprised to learn this. They explained that everything is shopped for and cooked fresh that day therefore that is their reason behind this. Anyway the hotel agreed to allow us for dinner that evening but we must choose and pay straight away, 550 rand each. Not knowing on a Saturday night if we could get in anywhere else we did this.
There is a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 deserts. We arrived for our booking at 8pm to find we were the only people who were dining. The food was ok.
What we did notice for the next 3 days the menu never changed.
On our last morning we spoke to 2 other sets of residents who also said they found the evening set up very strange and therefore they hadn’t eaten in the restaurant.

Amazing!
Pros:

We had such a great time and can not thank the amazing staff enough! It felt like we were visiting friends. Our room was incredible and we can now wait to come back next year! Highly recommended!!
