Pros:

The location in central Valletta is quite exceptional - you are literally staying in the middle of a UNESCO world heritage site/city with so much cultural/visitor attractions, shops, cafes immediately outside the door. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable and the staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful- they really went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. Our suite on top floor had its own private rooftop garden with a hot tub where you could soak up the buzz of the city in the streets below. A great experience 👍

Our stay at Casa Reale exceeded all of our expectations.

The level of care and attention given to guests is truly exceptional and far better than what we have experienced in many large hotels over the years. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed.

Breakfast was outstanding. Besides the buffet—with cereals, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins, donuts, cold cuts, and more—you can also choose a freshly prepared dish from the menu, including a traditional Maltese breakfast, a traditional English breakfast, omelettes, eggs cooked in different styles, pancakes, and other delicious options. Everything was fresh, well presented, and of excellent quality.

We stayed in the Diamond Suite, which features a private rooftop jacuzzi. The terrace is beautiful and incredibly relaxing, and the jacuzzi was always impeccably clean and perfectly maintained.

The suite itself was spotless throughout our stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and everything was consistently clean, organized, and well cared for.

The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Valletta’s historic center. We explored almost everything on foot, and there are wonderful restaurants just steps away. A special recommendation: Grana, an excellent Italian restaurant nearby.

We spent a long time researching where to stay before booking, and choosing Casa Reale turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We highly recommend Casa Reale and would happily stay here again!

Cons:

If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to add a curtain or blind to the bathroom window. In the morning, daylight came through the bathroom door and made the bedroom brighter than we would have liked. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect.
