Loved the traditional Maltese breakfast and the room was very clean and comfortable. Location was very practical also.

Small be adequate room with modern decor and a decent shower. Quiet location at end of a hallway. Perfectly located in the heart of the old town for site-seeing, eating and drinking.
Only real disappointment was the fact that there was only a small window out onto the corridor, not one looking out to the outside world
Location, quiet, and comfortable. Good shower, and lift.We were allowed early access to room, and kept luggage safe for us on final days.
No milk provided. Had to ask and long wait. TV overly complicated. Staff member switched it on and referred us to rudimentary instructions, which we found useless so were unable to access programmes. Lack of light in the room, as internal shaft and small window. Plug in washbasin couldn’t be removed and told not to use again! Breakfast on rook was too exposed for time of year and perishing!

The staff were very friendly and helpful - that's everyone. Breakfast on the roof was a great treat (perhaps another half-hour to enjoy it?) HPM was central and yet we heard none of the noise from a few streets up. The bed was very comfortable.
We did not like the requirement to use an app to check in - in fact we could not do so and worried about it. What's wrong with email or phone? And we were rather disappointed to learn there was no human at reception in the evening, or for check-in. (when the humans were there they were great!)
As with the app, we thought perhaps the hotel was trying too hard to be modish. The shower was excellent and very roomy but the stone washbasin - style over substance - was not very user friendly. Strangely there were no mirrors in the bedroom.

Stayed at this lovely hotel before but in different room with better view-current room was very clean but had an odd layout with bathroom open to the bedroom ie. no privacy in the shower

- The hotel manager I presume, was a little bit unkind / rude when I asked if it is possible for a late check out. I fully understand and respect if the answer is „no“ it is not possible, but his tone of voice could have been a bit friendlier when he rejected my request.
As a hotelier myself, who worked before in a boutique hotel, this level of service from a senior / manager staff, was really unnecessary.
- The WiFi is not very stable.
