Gelukkig was het maar voor 1 nacht.

We hadden geboekt voor 1 nacht met aankomst op een vrijdag en inclusief onbijt de volgende morgen. Enkele dagen nadat we geboekt hadden (dus wel ruim aantal dagen voor onze aankomst) kregen we een bericht dat er geen ontbijt kon geserveerd worden omdat het dan weekend is en wegens geen personeel, dat er geen ontbijt zou zijn. Dit was bij Booking niet vermeld. Wel vonden we ergens terug dat dit (geen ontbijt in weekend) het geval was enkele maanden voordien, maar die periode was al lang voorbij.
Tevens hadden we dit hotel gekozen omdat er een restaurant aan zou zijn.
Maar enkele uren voor onze aankomst, toen we nog onderweg waren, kregen we een berichtje dat wegens ziekte het restaurant niet open was.
Toen we toekwamen vrijdagavond, wisten we niet waar we ergens binnen moesten. Er was wel buiten een liftdeur te zien met een badgelezer en een toetsenbordpaneel. Maar hoe we moesten binnen geraken wisten we niet. We probeerde het hotel telefonisch te bereiken maar vielen telkens in een antwoordapparaat en men belde niet terug alhoewel we dat hadden ingesproken.
Maar die liftdeur was ingewerkt in de muur van een Spar winkel. We zijn daar dan binnengestapt en daar heeft men dan een mevrouw geroepen die ons moest verder helpen. Ze sprak een beetje Duits, geen Engels of Frans en uiteraard ook geen Nederlands. Ze gaf ons 2 kaarten om deuren te kunnen openen, maar we moesten eerst inchecken. Na moeilijke communicatie bleek dat die procedure moest gebeuren via een QR code die we moesten scannen en dan de nodige gegevens invullen. Als we dan dat hadden gedaan (maar bleek niet direct een gebruiksvriendelijk systeem te zijn) was het dan OK en vertelde men hoe we via de lift naar boven konden en daar moesten we dan onze kamer zoeken en die konden we dan openen met onze kaarten.
De kamer was OK, en dan zijn we maar via Google maps een restaurant gaan zoeken waar we dan wel met de auto naartoe moesten.
