Location was great, not far away from main must-visit places.

Cons:

The smell in the room was quite strong and unpleasant, kind of musty — possibly coming from the carpet or the curtains.
The shower was not very convenient: the glass partition was very narrow and didn’t prevent water from getting into the rest of the bathroom, so after every shower the floor was wet and we had to wipe it.
There was no proper wardrobe for clothes — just two hooks on the wall with a few hangers.
Another issue was that my friend and I had booked a room with two single beds, but in reality there was only one double bed. We showed our booking info to the manager, he said there’s no other options with single beds.
In general, the photos of the room on Booking did not quite match the actual conditions.

Pros:

Great location and owners / staff were so friendly and helpful. We didn't need much from them but got the impression that if we had had lots of questions they would have been very happy to answer them. We had one of the smaller rooms but was an absolutely fine size for what we needed.

Tolles, zentral gelegenes Hotel mit unglaublich nettem Team und hoher Sauberkeit, jedoch leider etwas hellhörigen Zimmer

Das Hotel punktet ganz klar mit seinem unglaublich freundlichen und herzlichen Team – wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und haben uns gut betreut gefühlt. Auch die Sauberkeit war wirklich top.
Der Standort war für den Städtetrip wirklich perfekt um alles gut erreichen zu können.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer hatte leider einige Herausforderungen: Es war sehr hellhörig und wir befanden uns direkt über dem Eingang, sodass man jedes Öffnen und Schließen der Tür stark mitbekommen hat – teilweise hat sogar der Boden spürbar vibriert. Zusätzlich fiel durch die Zimmertür Licht vom Gang ins Zimmer und es war extrem laut sobald jemand durchs Haus ging. Das hat uns leider sehr den Schlaf geraubt und die Nächte waren dadurch leider nicht so erholsam wie gewünscht.

Das Badezimmer in unserem Zimmer war zudem extrem klein, besonders das WC war sehr beengt eingebaut, was etwas unkomfortabel war.

Fantastic stay, amazing host!
Pros:

Had a fantastic stay here. The host (I'm sad I didn't get his name) was wonderful - so friendly and accommodating! As a solo traveller, visiting Amsterdam for the first time, I was made to feel very welcome and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Huge thank you!
