Amazing location and hospitality!
Pros:

The location was perfect for our vacation. We loved the historic area. We were surrounded by unlimited food options, which was very important for the picky eaters in our family. We walked and used public transportation for all our needs (except to/from airport). We stayed in Room 8- Amstel Family Room- we loved the space it provided for us and our two teenage boys. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and the atmosphere was a relaxing transition to start our day. The staff was always friendly, helpful with all our questions, and really made sure we were taken care of during our stay.

A charming small hotel in an authentic Amsterdam canal house!
Pros:

What a gem! I and my son enjoyed this wee canal house hotel. We had one of the back annex rooms - the stairs were very steep and then more stairs once inside our door, but that made it utterly charming and authentic. (I might hesitate if I had mobility issues, but for my kid and me it was a grand adventure!) The sleep was very quiet, and the room and bathroom were lovely for our needs. Breakfast was great - served down in the tea room on the ground level. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Amsterdam!

Pros:

Fantastische locatie midden in Amsterdam, maar wel op een rustige gracht. Heerlijke bedden en heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel! Van harte aan te bevelen!

Cons:

Alles was boven verwachting! Dus hartstikke tevreden klant hier.

Rooms are accessed up a very steep flight of stairs. Clearly not a place that would work for anyone with mobility issues.

'T Hotel and Salon in Amsterdam
Pros:

The property was a lovely, quaint and older facility with all of the desired attendant charm. It was not the cookie cutter room one expects from a chain hotel. Our host Martin was very friendly and helped us with electrical converter plugs. Breakfast was delicious and filling.

Cons:

There were some exuberant and noisy neighbors the first night but this was not the property's fault.

Great location, quiet, comfortable.
Pros:

Room very spacious, comfortable, plenty of storage space. Bathroom spotless with good powerful shower. Great location with nice friendly bar just up the street. Quiet location as well. Very helpful staff, good quality breakfast (continental).

Cons:

The sink did not have a plug - not a huge problem but would have been useful. NB for anyone with mobility issues, the hotel is in an old canalside house and has very steep stairs up to the rooms.

Ideal quiet and comfortable location for a weekend in Amsterdam.
Pros:

The location is ideal for exploring Amsterdam: it's located just a short walk from the train station in the charming 9 streets neighborhood, next to Jodaan. Despite this central location, the hotel is on a quiet street and our room was wonderfully calm and peaceful.

Cons:

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable and the stairs, while typical of canal houses, are a bit difficult! The breakfast was very nice though I'd loved to have tried one of the cakes they sell (not included in breakfast).
