Ideal quiet and comfortable location for a weekend in Amsterdam.
Pros:

The location is ideal for exploring Amsterdam: it's located just a short walk from the train station in the charming 9 streets neighborhood, next to Jodaan. Despite this central location, the hotel is on a quiet street and our room was wonderfully calm and peaceful.

Cons:

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable and the stairs, while typical of canal houses, are a bit difficult! The breakfast was very nice though I'd loved to have tried one of the cakes they sell (not included in breakfast).

Pros:

The location is small but very clean and gives you the feeling of home. Although the reception closes at 8p.m., the lady at the reception waited for us until 10. It was obviously an effort on her part, which we appreciated very much, because it allowed us to explore the city without constraints.
Even though it is located a short distance walk from the center, the area is mainly residential and quiet.
The breakfast is not very varied, but it was very tasty and sufficient.

Cons:

The interior staircase is very narrow and steep, but it's not something that can be changed/modified, it's the construction. You could say it's part of the charm of the place, but those with mobility problems will have a hard time moving on this type of staircase.

Great location, clean hotel & friendly staff
Pros:

Yasmin & Victor who run the Hotel are fantastic. They could not be more helpful & friendly.
The hotel was in a good location for central sightseeing & the breakfast was very nice.

Cons:

Just a small point that the pillows in our room were fine but maybe could be improved.

Wenn wieder Amsterdam, dann sicher dieses Hotel
Pros:

Zimmer sehr schön, tolle Tapete, passende Vorhänge, kein 0815. Mitarbeiter sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Lage perfekt: nahe beim Zentrum und doch ruhig am Wasser

We loved it!
Pros:

We loved the area, great location. Nice breakfast, very helpful staff getting bags up the tight steep Dutch stairs

Steep stairs, not ideal if you have trouble with stairs. But that’s Dutch.

Très satisafaite
Pros:

Super hôtel, très bien placé dans un super quartier. La chambre était propre, le lit très confortable.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner, un peu trop industriel. On aurait envie d'avoir accès aux pâtisseries/gâteaux maison qui sont proposées dans la partie salon de thé.
