We loved it!
Pros:

We loved the area, great location. Nice breakfast, very helpful staff getting bags up the tight steep Dutch stairs

Cons:

Steep stairs, not ideal if you have trouble with stairs. But that’s Dutch.

Pros:

Super hôtel, très bien placé dans un super quartier. La chambre était propre, le lit très confortable.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner, un peu trop industriel. On aurait envie d'avoir accès aux pâtisseries/gâteaux maison qui sont proposées dans la partie salon de thé.

We had a very good stay in this hotel.
Pros:

I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was clean, the staff very nice. The breakfast was good. I would have liked to have foreign channels on TV.

Amazing location but the room cleanliness and towels need a refresh.
Pros:

The location is absolutely perfect. Such a sweet little building and the staff and really nice.

Cons:

There was rubbish under the bed (empty water bottle) and the towels were thin and had holes in them.

The hotel offers a very good price and superb location making it a great value option in Amsterdam.
Pros:

Excellent location, right on the canal, with a very romantic atmosphere.

Breakfast is included and offers a good variety of options. The couple who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and welcoming, which really adds a personal touch to the stay.

We stayed in a first-floor room facing the canal, and the view was excellent. One thing to note is that room brightness—especially in summer—can be an issue, as there are no blackout curtains. Street noise, however, was well controlled and did not disturb our sleep.

Overall, the hotel offers a very good price, making it a great value option in Amsterdam.

Cons:

Important to consider: access to the first floor is via a very steep staircase with narrow steps, which could be challenging for older guests or anyone with mobility issues.
