A perfect spot to stay when visiting Hallstatt
Pros:

It was close to the ferry and centrally located. The room had a wonderful view. The staff were all friendly and could speak English

Great hotel. I highly recommend it.
Pros:

The hotel is really close from the place where the boat docks. We got the junior suite, and the room had such an amazing view. It was awesome. The staff of the hotel were really polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel has very beautiful and well-maintained facilities. We really loved our stay.

Cons:

The breakfast was good but not amazing. It's not that I didn't like it; it was just my least favorite part of the stay.

Excellet hotel for ferry passengers
Pros:

The location is perfect for people coming from the ferry across the lake (since the train station to Hallstatt is on the other side of the lake), but not for people coming from cars and buses - the ferry dock is almost next to the hotel, but the bus station and car parking are on the side of the town. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

My first night was in a room that had the sealed window due to the outside construction. Since the building is heated automatically by floor-heat, you cannot change the temperature in any room individually. The first night was dreadfully hot; after complaining to the management, I was given a different room for the second night, which has a window that can be opened. So, you could be entirely happy if you happen to get a good room... or have a sleepless night if you get a sealed box.

Cons:

The room was hot. I was aware that there's no AC. They had a fan, but it wasn't sufficient for me. Wanted to open the windows but couldn't open it fully.

Great location and food
Pros:

Location is perfect-just a very short walk from the pier as we went from Hallstatt train Staion by ferry. Breakfast was great with pictureque view. The hotel has its own restaurant that opens until 21.00 hrs. Restaurants and shops outside were closed early so you can find food here.

Cons:

There was a renovation (I think) at the exterior on the side of my room, so a lot of wooden dust on the windows which had to be closed during the day.
