Another great stay
Pros:

Have stayed a few times always lovely, peaceful and quiet, had Room 10 for the first time nice big room with four poster bed and its own little kitchen! Will definitely be back

Brilliant! - well-recommended.
Pros:

I’m giving Drumdevan good marks: the room was fabulous: spacious and light with brilliant facilities such as a huge power shower in the en suite; fast wi-fi; tea/coffee facilities; programmed central heating and instant porridge available for brekkie.
Brochures describing local places of interest were in the room as well as the lobby.
The bed was super-comfortable with a quality mattress and, indeed, the room was very clean.
By the way, don’t be surprised to find there aren’t any staff there. Entrance after booking is made from a PIN code; there isn’t a cook either - instead the aforementioned instant porridge is available.
Not much need to worry about being too hungry though as there’s a pub and supermarket just a mile away.
There’s a garden with mature trees including Scots pine and sycamore - overall by day there’s a peacefulness amidst the birdsong.

Cons:

Upon arrival, the frontage of Drumdevan looks a little disappointing.
It looks like it needs a good lick of paint, but bearing in mind the old adage of books versus covers, it more than compensates once past the front door.
But the reality is that the whole building is under a conservation order and I guess that it must stay close to the design and appearance it had when the 18th century Scottish lord lived there.
It’s kinda gothic looking ( as in photo).

Is het een hotel of is het een spookhuis?
Pros:

Mooie kamer met goede voorzieningen.

Cons:

Het ontbreken van personeel maakt het onpersoonlijk en een beetje spookachtig. Het sociaal zwakke gezin dat in een van de kamers verblijft maakt dat gevoel nog wat sterker.

A delightful and very comfortable stay in a beautiful old house.
Pros:

A beautiful property set in lovely grounds, very private and peaceful. Our room was massive and had everything we needed. The complimentary chocolate, biscuits and bottled water was fabulous. Incredibly dog friendly which our Yorkshire terrier appreciated. The bed was so very comfortable, like sinking into a cloud. Parking was excellent. The owners were very helpful and responsive. A special shout-out to the young housekeeper, Norbert. A lovely young gentleman doing a great job!

Cons:

We didn’t like having to leave, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Veramente Carino e Caratteristico
Pros:

La posizione è davvero comoda per visitare i dintorni in macchina. La struttura è molto curata e accogliente, con grande attenzione ai dettagli. Abbiamo apprezzato particolarmente il posto auto disponibile e i piccoli comfort trovati all’ingresso, come prese e connettori per iPhone e Android, oltre a biscotti e prodotti per la colazione.

La stanza e il bagno erano molto puliti e ben tenuti. Il self check-in e il self check-out sono stati estremamente pratici e ci hanno permesso di arrivare e ripartire con totale libertà di orario. Esperienza molto positiva!

Da gibt es absolut gar nichts in der Ecke. Somit auch kein Restaurant, in dem man Essen gehen kann. Auch Personal gibt es nicht, man erhält per Mail einen Zugangscode
