Gau Shan Ching Hotel

Arañas, cucarachas y demás insectos en la habitación, el deshumidificador roto, hongos en la bañera, los conductos de ventilación rotos a pedazos, ruidos por todas partes, sólo encienden la calefacción si la temperatura indoor del hotel baja por debajo de los 8 grados!!! Para el desayuno, te dan unos vales para ir a un restaurante mugriento atravesando todo el parque donde dan un desayuno bastante asqueroso....el personal fuera de lugar, cantando por los pasillos a pleno pulmón, todo sucio, viejo y roto...es lamentable que se anuncie un "alojamiento" así y encima, carísimo!!!

Extremamente caro para o que oferece, é um hotel velho, o chuveiro não funciona bem e o quarto era muito pequeno

WIFI was terrible, thin walls - could hear every conversation outside my room's door.

We were woken up in the middle of the night although we specifically told them that we don't need the wake up service.

The room is pretty tight, for a solo traveller it's fine. The bathroom has seen better days. Our fan sounded like it was about to fall off from the ceiling. I recommend light sleepers to bring an eye mask and eat plugs. Our window led out to the hallway/corrider and the light was left on all night and walls are paper thin so you can easily hear other guests. It's expensive for what you get, but I guess the owners know they can charge whatever they want without putting any effort into maintenance and quality of the hotel as people will pay for the location. I recommend looking at other options, we left it too late and this place was our last option to stay in the recreational area.

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, Haare im Badezimmer, Klimaanlage bzw. Lüftung sehr laut. Preis Leistung dürftig, aber wenn man in Alishan übernachten will wegen Zug zum Sonnenaufgang bzw. wandern grade noch passabel.

Das Zimmer war dunkel und sehr hellhörig. Das Badezimmer ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen. Es fehlte der Duschvorhang.

Nothing new, only things you could read in any other review.
The bathroom smelled like a drain. However, the same smell could also be detected elsewhere in the village.
The room was very worn-out and, given the price, is in urgent need of renovation. Looks like the hotel was built in the 1950s and was never renovated ever since.
As it is the only option to see the sunrise for individual travelers using public transportation I would probably either book earlier or choose this place again.

空間狹小，浴室門跟房間門出入處互卡，脫換鞋有點不方便！

No AC in rooms (not needed) and some windows face communal corridors so you get more noise in as you have to sleep with windows open. Expect noise for the early morning sunrise train departure.
