Koukis Villa Review
Pros:

The owner and staff were extremely hospitable and treated us lile family! They checked on us everyday to ask if we needed anything. They also prepared a special dish of grilled squid upon arrival, as we were very hungry from our travels. It was so fresh and delicious 😋. The rooms were extremely clean and upgraded. The facility itself was beautiful and it was close to St. Nicholas beach, which is one of the nicer beachs on the island. The beach at koukis sits in a cove, so it was calm water, but bring water shoes as many beaches on the zGreek islands are rocky.

Cons:

The main thing I did not like about Koukis was that I paid for an upgrade for a hot tub and it wasnt working. We planned on doing a lot of walking and hiking during the day. We asked several times if they could fix it, but they never did. I felt that compared to other facilities, they chared a bit too much. We also didnt like how far it was from the blue caves, but that was no fault of theirs. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel which felt more like a villa if you want to stay on the southeast part of Zakynthos near Nicholas Beach!

Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Vor allem das Housekeeping und Restaurant Team.

Cons:

Das Frühstücksbuffett wirkt eher lieblos. Keine Abwechslung des Sortiments. So gut wie kein Personal beim Frühstück oder Rezeption. Whirlpool im Zimmer hatte zu viel Sand im Wasser, was den Eindruck von fehlender Aufmerksamkeit und Gründlichkeit vermittelt.

Struttura ben tenuta. La camera era pulita e confortevole. Lo staff si è dimostrato sempre cordiale e disponibile durante il soggiorno.

Great location, beautiful views if you lucky to have main building see view room. Good selection of drinks by the pool bar. Breakfast is AVRAGE the most. Same every day average quality products served in a rather lazy manner. Axe chopped tomatoes in metal container. Everything else is pretty basic staff but the worse is the cofeeee. Instant coffee machine from early 80s. Painful on holiday if you like a gud cup of roast in the morning. Five stars for location and views. Three for food and one for coffee.

Coffee was really bad.

Ich war schon sehr viel in Griechenland unterwegs , aber ins Koukis zieht es mich immer wieder zurück.(seit 20 Jahren)

Perfekte Lage, sehr sauber, ruhig, sehr freundliches Personal sehr gute Hotel-Eigene Taverne, ganz tolle Strandbar mit toller Aussicht

Nice rooms, great location but very disappointing breakfast
Pros:

Nice clean rooms. Good location and a good base to explore the island. A nice beach in front of hotel and great beaches a short walk away and others a drive away.

Cons:

Breakfast very basic and exact same selection each day. Made breakfast a chore rather than looking forward to. Although hotel modern and in good condition it lacked attention and character. The food at the beach front restaurant was also a bit disappointing compared to others and overpriced. We preferred to drive to other choices. (If they put a bit more effort in at breakfast and nice touches this place could be great given location and standard of rooms).
