Massima spesa, minima resa.
Pros:

Posizione privilegiata su una splendida baia tranquilla (a parte il traffico di motoscafi del vicino centro per gli sport acquatici) e al riparo dai venti. Spiaggia dorata e acqua trasparente. Il mare vale da solo il viaggio.

Cons:

Ho pagato per una settimana in un 4 stelle (così è classificato su Booking) ma mi è stato riservato un servizio da 3 stelle, se non meno. L’impressione è che, dei tre edifici che compongono la struttura, due offrano camere e servizi adeguati alla categoria (a parte il tristissimo manto di erba sintetica che circonda la piscina), il terzo (ahimè, dove siamo capitati noi) sia invece di “seconda scelta”, con finiture discutibili, trasandato e ormai datato, con personale insufficiente: in una settimana nessuno ha mai pulito il pavimento della camera, c’erano sabbia e capelli ovunque, le lenzuola mostravano segni di usura su cui preferisco stendere un velo, gli accessori del bagno cadevano a pezzi. Ho chiesto uno stendipanni (mi sarebbe bastato anche un filo) per asciugare i costumi e mi è stato detto di stendere direttamente sulla balaustra del balcone… la struttura è gestita da un unico Responsabile (sempre gentile), che si occupa di tutto e quindi è sempre molto preso: per la maggior parte del tempo, la reception non è presidiata e non si sa a chi chiedere informazioni. Tuttavia, il voto peggiore se lo merita la colazione: trascurata, con ingredienti scadenti, in una sala con sedie sporche, nonostante il gran daffare del Responsabile, e al termine della quale gli ospiti sono tenuti a sparecchiare perché non c’è personale di servizio. Peccato perché il posto ha un altissimo potenziale, basterebbero davvero un po’ più di attenzione e cura.

Infinity Pool, Meer guter Strand und nah.

Cons:

Frühstück, zu eintönig, z.B. immer nur eine sorte Oliven die total versalzen, ungenießbar war. Immer die gleichen 4 Wurstsorten, die auch noch gleich schmeckten. Nur hart gekochtes Ei, 15-30 Minuten.

Het ontbijt was wat simpel en jammer dat de bedjes bij het zwembad al vanaf s morgens vroeg bezet worden gehouden. Ondanks de melding dat dit niet mag wordt daar niet op gelet.

Koukis Villa Review
Pros:

The owner and staff were extremely hospitable and treated us lile family! They checked on us everyday to ask if we needed anything. They also prepared a special dish of grilled squid upon arrival, as we were very hungry from our travels. It was so fresh and delicious 😋. The rooms were extremely clean and upgraded. The facility itself was beautiful and it was close to St. Nicholas beach, which is one of the nicer beachs on the island. The beach at koukis sits in a cove, so it was calm water, but bring water shoes as many beaches on the zGreek islands are rocky.

Cons:

The main thing I did not like about Koukis was that I paid for an upgrade for a hot tub and it wasnt working. We planned on doing a lot of walking and hiking during the day. We asked several times if they could fix it, but they never did. I felt that compared to other facilities, they chared a bit too much. We also didnt like how far it was from the blue caves, but that was no fault of theirs. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel which felt more like a villa if you want to stay on the southeast part of Zakynthos near Nicholas Beach!
