Our stay at ibis Coimbatore was made memorable by the genuinely personal and attentive service we received. I would especially like to commend Ms. Alin George, Sales & Marketing Manager, who went above and beyond to assist us with an urgent laundry request. Despite the hotel being extremely busy, she handled the situation with remarkable efficiency, calmness, and care.

Mr. Venkat was also closely involved in ensuring everything went smoothly, and together they coordinated the process seamlessly. What truly surprised and delighted us was that our laundry was returned earlier than the promised time — a rare and impressive example of not just keeping one’s word, but exceeding expectations.

Their responsiveness, integrity, and commitment to service reflect a level of professionalism that is increasingly rare. This experience reinforced our confidence in ibis as a brand that values people, not just processes. Truly grateful for such thoughtful and reliable service.

Pros:

Breakfast was really good. Very good spread and amazing staff to help with dietary needs

Cons:

Someone from the hotel called me and asked for my card details so that they can confirm my booking. When I said there was no such thing on booking.com and that they should write to me via the app then he said ok no problem I will hold the booking for you. This was not required I felt

Pros:

I always choose this hotel due to it's location. Staff members Pradesh, Akshaya, and Henry anna were polite and courteous. Pradesh helped me to move to a different room.

Cons:

Some staff members including reception people are rude. There was no one at the entrance to help with luggage on arrival. There was only one security person standing outside the hotel, near the driveway, but he pretended he didn't see the taxi (I arrived in), that I needed a help, I looked at him, but he turned his face away pretending he didn't see, until I asked him to help to get the luggage from the taxi and scan it before entering the hotel, as they usually do.

The floor where I stayed was very noisy day and night, after 10 pm, 20 year old Indian guys were jumping and running from one side of the corridor to another, trying to catch each other, screaming, banging each others door constantly, local women screaming on the phone in a corridor, loudly, it felt like am in a market, train station or a hostel not in a 3 star hotel. They would disappear to their rooms and after some time come out and repeat it again several times. When I called the reception about it after 10 pm, they sent a security guy who doesn't understand English, I came out from my room to a corridor to show him where the noise was coming from, was telling him the situation, he repeated 'I know, I know'', and left. He did nothing to solve the noise, instead, he was looking at me in a vulgar way, when I turned back, I saw from the window shadow he was looking at my figure, as a woman I felt cringe and disgusted by such behaviour of the staff member. This is unacceptable and disgusting, they should train these people to look and treat women respectfully and equal to men, to have professional ethics. From a security personnel only Henry anna is always respectful, polite and courteous.

I couldn't sleep in my room, there was constant banging music like in nightclubs at night and early mornings, on the upper floor. They couldn't solve this problem.
They should remove the 3 star from this hotel, it doesn't correspond to the level at which the hotel is in reality.

The front desk staff was very nice and polite

Cons:

There was just one toilet roll enough for one use, not stocked either. had to call in for that.
There was an open condom wrapper in the closet, fell out when trying to grab the extra pillow. It shows that things don't get cleabed out. I did show the photo to the front desk.

Perfect Stay in Coimbatore!
Pros:

Stayed at Ibis Coimbatore for a few nights and loved the experience! The hotel is centrally located, making it super easy to explore the city. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The food was also a highlight—so tasty! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the city.
