Good location
Pros:

Good location,clean,and good price.

Cons:

Loud can hear all cars passing by hard to sleep past 6am once traffic started.

It was fine for the price.
Pros:

We booked last-minute. The Red Roof Inn was pretty much what we expected for the price range. We appreciated that they held our room until we checked in after 10 PM, because they were sold out for the night.

Cons:

When we arrived, we saw a sign at the front desk that said "Back in 20 minutes" and advised calling a number. The desk person was in the next room (I could see his arm through the door) but didn't seem to hear us and we had to call to get him out to check us in. When we checked out in the morning, the "Back in 20" sign was still up, and no employees to be seen. We had already been told that we'd just need to leave our keys, and we did, but it felt a little odd not to have our checkout acknowledged.

The hotel was clean and well taken care of.
Pros:

It was close to the freeway. The room was so much better than expected. It was clean and well taken care of. We would stay there again and probably will the next time we come to the Port of Los Angeles, it was close to the port.

Cons:

Coastal Highway 1 was a little noisy, but it's what we would expect, though.

Pros:

Clean rooms, easy check in and check out. Roger was wonderful with information on places to eat and places to visit
There's also a dispensary right across the street.
