Magnifique hôtel situé sur le port Vénitien en plein cœur de la vieille ville notre chambre était splendide très bien décorée et calme et le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Nous avons été accueilli très chaleureusement et le personnel a été au petit soin avec nous. Ce que nous avons d’ailleurs constaté dans tous les hôtels lors de notre séjour.
Nous recommandons vivement le Cretan Renaissance vous ne serez pas déçus.
Absolutely outstanding service from the friendly receptionist! She provided the warmest welcome & lots of helpful information regarding restaurants & beaches! The owner also took the time to greet us and provide nice take away lunches. The room has lots of unique touches and an amazing view of the harbour! We loved sitting on the deck with our beverages watching all the activity below.

The view of the Venetian Port when at the balcony is awesome and the location couldn't be better.
The breakfast starting at 9:00 AM is way too late in the morning. The difficulty in finding a parking spot near the hotel. Anyway this is a city issue, the hotel has nothing to do.

If you want a lot of charm, beauty and character, this is the place. We had the balcony room with the rain shower. The staff is so helpful, welcoming and professional. They arranged the taxi to and from the airport. They provided us with a box breakfast for an early tour we did. The breakfast is included and it’s a good one. Fresh squeezed orange juice . Choice of omelet, scrambled eggs, a beautiful yogurt fruit and honey bowl, or the cheese and honey pie. It’s at the quieter end of a busy section so not too noisy at all. We also had lunch and dinner at the restaurant there. Really nice.
Lovely harbour views from the cafe. Very centrally located - we parked our hire car at the free East Moat Theatre parking, about 10 min walk away through the old town. Room was very clean and comfortable. Spa bath was an extra luxury.
Steep steps from bedroom to kitchen area. Shower attachment was basic, with no shower curtain to keep the water in the bath.
Really stunning hotel, amazing views of the harbour and really nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed. Extremely friendly, helpful and attentive staff and owner. Breakfast was in the restaurant below and was great (and had a couple of GF options)

Helena on reception was so friendly and always happy to advise on activities/ destinations.

The top step between the bedroom and kitchen area could be a little tricky especially when visiting the bathroom at night.

Everything - closeness of room to the Harbour and the view from the room window. Busy location but good sound proofing in the room. The Harbour area in general was very clean and tidy.
Chef adapted to our Breakfast requirements due to one fussy eater.
Staff friendly and helpful, with knowledge of the area and locations of interest.
Could do with a handrail to assist getting out of the deep bath.
