Wow!!!! What an incredible place to visit! Truly off the beaten track. We arrived after a long journey to the most spectacular welcome… not just from the staff, but also the wildlife! Rhea and capybara were roaming the grounds. Burrowing owls were 100 yds from our window… we stayed 4 nights and saw 3 deer species, river otter, capybara, wild pigs, grey foxes, and over 100 species of birds including the famous strange tailed tyrant!
The accommodation was immaculate, the staff super and attentive, but perhaps the most praise has to go to the cooking - which was brilliant - all meals from breakfast to dinner were beautifully presented and great tasting!
The trips organised were great… but a highlight for us was the Kayaking, which took us unbelievably close to caiman, southern screamers, and many other creatures! Thank you!
La infraestructura, la decoración, la gastronomía, el lugar, el entorno natural, las actividades (impresionante lo bien pensadas y originales!), los animales que se ven en su habitat, pero sobre todo la calidez del personal! A los uruguayos: nos queda cerca, es una experiencia de otro nivel, no se lo pierdan! A El Transito: gracias!!

Wonderful experience. Worth the long transfer particularly if you like wildlife viewing in a unique setting.
Everything about this place exceeded our expectations, the unique location, the fantastic success story of the rewilded wetlands, the flora and fauna, the culture, and the staff or more importantly the people who work there, make you feel so welcome, share their passion and culture.
The comfort, the food, the experience, the friendships are unique.

This place is perfection. The property is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The staff is beyond accommodating and friendly, and the food was amazing!!! The excursions and show were also excellent experiences. We would love to return!!
