Sky sports on the telly and good options to select from. Bed was very comfy

Room was great size. Accessible bathroom spotless and very big.
Interconnecting door to room next door allowed all conversations to be heard, especially at 5am !

Wide had prawn noodles - very nice
I had pizza - doughy base and very bland.
The location was good and the facilities were abundant.It was clean and Bathroom facilities were spot on.
The room was too warm and cleaning products on bedding or from room cleaning were a bit overwhelming for us,although perhaps mild enough for those who are used to it. There was some furniture moving noise or lift noise in the late evening after 10pm that sounded like thunder. And it was a bit noisy .

The bed
Incredibly thin joining doors meant you heard every word from next door, even if they were speaking in a hushed tone. Every single word as if there was no door at all!!
The location as a mid way stop over was great. Breakfast plentiful.
Sadly, and possibly not the hotels fault entirely but at 22.50pm- a group of road workers decided to use their road digging machines and start digging up the main road directly outside the hotel and facing our room. Yellow flashing lights and heavy machinery including jack hammers could be heard for well over an hour. On speaking with reception at 23.30pm I was offered a full refund - FairPlay, however, in the morning when I approached reception as I was asked to do I was offered 20% plus free car parking (totalling £25). I declined as we had not had a good sleep at all. I was offered 50% discount which I duly accepted as I didn’t want to cause a scene!

The food was very good, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Club Room which gave access to gym and pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub.
Breakfasts very good as lots of choice.
Special thanks to your great front of house staff at Main Reception at hotel. Particular thanks toa member of your team there, "Megan", she was so very helpful, and represented your chain of Village exceptionally well, with the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. She is a great asset to your Company. I hope we get the chance to go there again soon. We were both very comfortable and felt totally at ease, relaxed and ready to face lifes challenges once more, after spending four nights at this hotel.
