Staff were friendly and helpful. Our bathroom was nicely decorated. The view from our room window was ok.
In the bathroom, the shower screen had a loose fitting on the ceiling, and had black stained sealant around the edges. The room itself was not what we expected, especially for the price we had paid. It wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been, the bed and the sofa were both stained and frayed around the edges showing loose threads, the sofa actually look old and well worn in, and we were quite shocked to see a man walking his dogs right past our window. Luckily we weren’t undressing at the time.
The Pool and gym.

Great shower and room was good for two adults and 2 children.
Self service check in too complicated and time consuming . Thete was a member of staff on reception, who eventually had to assist.
Staff very friendly couldn't do enough for you breakfast was excellent
Overall feel was good although it did feel a little dated & the reception booking system didn't work. Fortunately a couple of members of staff were very helpful & booked us in. The food was excellent, room was clean.
My biggest gripe is that although clearly booked as a business trip I still have not had a VAT receipt for the visit & a member of staff suggested at checkout that the receipt they send will not match the price paid through Booking.com, not good enough!
The gym and breakfast are the highlights. Staff were also very outgoing and the hotel is clean and fairly modern.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and reasonably well equipped (no complimentary biscuits). The bathrooms are modern and clean. Free Wifi is good also. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There's lots of parking but it cost £7.50 per night.
