Great location
Comfy bed
The hotel is perfect place for great stay evening receptionist was great and friendly price would have been reasonable apart from fact we paid extra £20 for late check out evening staff logged it and said we wouldn't get bothered in the morning but morning staff never bothered to check and was banging on door at 10.30 to say we'd missed check out time so what did we pay extra £20 for nothing
Very annoyed to pay £20 and staff not check shouldn't staff if you've missed check out time atleast check first to make sure you not paid that extra money before banging on door to wake you when you've paid for that extra time for a lay in that we didn't get!!!
Everything
Nothing
Basic room, very comfortable and clean beds, the location was amazing with everything we needed around the hotel and more. This hotel has great potential.
It was a basic hotel with basic rooms which is what we expected, more sockets and wi fi could be better,on a plus side hotel staff were absolutely fantastic.
Easy check in with lovely staff
The lady on reception was so helpful and welcoming.
Excellent central location, clean and well presented
Very clean, comfortable bed - period appearance. On site parking, however its limited I managed to get a space.
Lack of shower, the hot water wasn't hot - and it dribbled out the tap. It took 35mins to half fill the bath with just hot water alone - the hot water was so cold I could bathe in it without putting any cold in... Both our rooms had this problem... No catering in the hotel, but we knew this before going so that's ok.
Location was perfect, couldn't be better. Right in the centre of the old town. Two minute walk to castle, cathedral, Dickens house and many other historic buildings.
It's an old hotel with lots of character. I love the horse and carriage archway entrance.
I liked that it is right in Rochester High street. Very good location. I also liked that it is a very old historical hotel. There is a lovely atmosphere there with winding passageways. Much better than a boring modern hotel.
Great stay as always
Staff always welcomming and able to park
Thank you
Location
Location was great for the high street
The property was old appliances, plastic bag on the smoke detector along with trip hazards and a broken lock that stopped us from leaving the room with force, we had tried to call the reception and out of hours number - no one answered or were there and this was 9.30 in the morning!)
The hotel is on the High Street, with the cathedral and castle both only being a Very short walking distance.
For the price I paid for my double en - suite room I don't have any complaints.
