Mitten im Olivenhain, 1 km vom leeren Strand, 30 min nach Agios Nikolaos, 20 min an die Ostküste!

Pros:

Etablissement typique et familial. Les repas proposés le soir vous plongent dans la cuisine traditionel grecque.
Le lieu en plein coeur des oliviers sur la route de Tholos Beach est très agréable.
Le village de Kavousi est à 800 m
L’acceuil est très sympathique

Cons:

Le confort est un peu spartiate mais on ne vient pas pour du luxe dans cet etablissement mais pour l’authenticité.

Le petit déjeuner et l emplacement étaient parfaits. Là situation exceptionnelle au calme et proche de la plage ;hôtel immergé dans les oliviers et la nature! Tout était très bien. Je reviendrai...

Éventuellement de mettre une porte moustiquaire qui donne sur le balcon...

Pros:

Kavousi was a small village about 10-15 mins walk from Tholos rooms, lovely place, nice café's friendly people and many churches. The Rooms were also 25 minutes walk from a small sheltered bay, lovely for swimming and sunbathing.
The Rooms themselves were clean with lots of light and lovely mountain views.
The family who had the rooms and the taverna underneath were very sociable and friendly.

Really like the location and the view. You can really good see the stars at the sky there, amazing!

View from the balcony is breathtaking; peaceful location; amazing parrot on the reception

Pros:

Un établissement familial où l'accueil est très agréable, discret mais chaleureux. Une belle ambiance grecque, loin des boîtes à touristes.
Les chambres sont très propres, la vue magnifique sur les oliviers et au loin la baie de Tholos. Le village de Kavousi est plaisant (à 2,5km) et la paisible baie et plage de Tholos, à même distance dans l'autre sens, parfaite pour la baignade.
L'établissement offre, si on le souhaite, sur sa large terrasse, le petit déjeuner et d'excellents repas du soir avec des produits frais du jour. Le patron nous a même demandé le dernier matin ce que l'on voulait manger le soir et nous avons eu droit à de délicieux légumes farcis à la grecque, suivis de l'habituel assiette de fruits et raki offerts par la maison.

Cons:

La salle de bains était un peu petite mais très propre.

Excelent location, great staff, great food, cretan hospitality
Pros:

Excellent staff, big clean rooms, every 2-3 days sheets and towels are changed. At the ground level there is a taverna, where every night there is something special to eat.
Very good value of money and owner - Giannis and all the staff are very kind, generous and helpful. The view from the room was fantastic, and the location is situated in the middle of an olive tree plantation, very close to the Tholos beach.
In the morning breakfast or a coffee is available.
Here you can find the well known Cretan hospitality!
Congratulation for everything and we will surely see again!
