De locatie. Een huisje op palen aan het water. Prachtig uitzicht.
De zonsondergang.
- Zeer hard matras.

- Slechte en onvriendelijke bediening in restaurant
- Eten bereiden duurt meer dan een uur. Eten viel tegen qua smaak.
- Slechte communicatie over transportkosten. Er stond in een boekje in de kamer dat het transport van en naar het eiland gratis was. Bleek alleen bij vertrek en aankomst. Dit was bij aankomst ook niet verteld. Iedere tocht kostte 7,50 euro. Dus moesten 22,50 euro extra afrekenen.
Traumhafte Lage auf einer kleinen Insel, nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Zum Schwimmen und Kanu (Einbaum) fahren perfekt.
The best place to stay near Kabale and Lake Bunyonyi. The facilities are great, the location is perfect and easy to reach from Kabale. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home all the time. Food is good and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Highly recommended!

The location is beautiful situated on the edge of the lake. All around the accomodation are beautiful and well-kept gardens. The room was spacious and clean, only some flies in the shower but that was okay. Would definitely come back.
The staff could be a bit more open and enthusiastic. This being said, they were very professional and helped when asked.
Very beautiful location and the nights are extremely peaceful. This nice lodge is just a short boat ride from the main land.
Itambira Seeds of Hope has been one of the most special places we stayed at during our 2 month East Africa trip. Lake Bunyonyi and the islands are gorgeous to begin with. Seeds of Hope had very decent and good quality amenities: comfy beds, proper mosquitoe net (in Africa you will find out that not every mosquitoe net provided is functional, some of them won't cover the whole bed...etc. that wasn't the case), hot water. Yes, there were specific hours when they provided hot water and internet but that was understandable given the fact that you are really in a remote place. Overall the staff was a bit too serious (I was wondering if they were happy to live/work there) but cordial. The island is lovely to explore. Make sure you go up and visit the tiny school. The teacher lady there does an amazing job and you can even get to spend time with the kids. The views are gorgeous. We did the Batwa pygmy people tour which was nice (especially the sailing part) but a bit overrated. Instead stay here 2 nights min to relax, unwind, read and recover in between tiring periods of your trip. Totally worth it.
Nothing. We believe this was a very good value for the price. We also learned the owner lady (from the US or England, the staff gave different info on where she was from) actually contributes to the community with the money she makes which was nice to know. For example she paid for a water tank to be built for the small community up the hill above the hotel.
Spotless rooms and facilities combined with friendly staff that bend over backwards to make guests comfortable make this an unforgettable stay. Being on an island makes this a haven of tranquility - an added plus.
The hot water is a little iffy but the staff are very quick in attending to it.

Wonderful view
Absolutely everything! It is just like the photos however those can’t capture the stunning views from the island, the friendly staff or wonderful sense of peace! I stayed in a treehouse, very cosy, comfy bed, mosquito net, hot shower & lovely view from the balcony. The birds in the morning were something else! The lovely restaurant area was a great place to sit and read a book as was the « Sundowner Deck » with sun beds, a great place to swim from or have a drink as the sun sets. The food was plentiful and good. This place is absolutely magic! Just don’t come expecting western mod-cons eg: you’ll need to charge devices while the generator is on between 6-10pm, there are some insects and if you shower too long you’ll run out if hot water - this is an island in remote Uganda! Oh and be warned, there is a steep path and sone steps to most of the accommodation..
Only the noise of the generator but that can’t be helped and is not on for long!
i really liked to stay there. super hot water in the showers, the western food was surprisingly good exept the pizza. we got a free upgrade for the room since almost noone else was there what was really nice. also appreciante that the boat to the island from the parking lot is for free and is at no extra cost.
the boat tour we did was a little bit disapointing. we was told it take 2-3 hours. ours last 1 and a half hour and we actually saw the islands we already saw on the way to the island. maybe try to get another boat driver/tour operator.
Lovely peaceful place on Itambira Island on Lake Bunyonyi. Very basic and little food choice but super sweet staff and very helpful.
It's a very small thing but the generator was very close to the bar/restaurant area, making it a bit loud and somewhat disturbing the peace of the place.
Very nice location, great little cabins and friendly and helpful staff. It was fun to take the big wooden canoe for a paddle around the island.
The location in breathing and the little hut I stayed in was really beautiful and comfortable.
Breakfast was also delicious
One of the best breakfast I had in Uganda! Fresh, a lot of local fruits, pancakes and fresh juice. Combined with a perfect view over Lake Bunyonyi - perfect match! The cabins are absolutely lovely, warm water all the time and the price you pay for a room is really fair compared to other accomodations around the lake. Staff is absolutely lovely and you help the community with your stay and payment. If you want a 10 out of 10 go to Seeds of Hope.
