Basic comfortable hotel in a great location. Good value for money.
Pros:

Breakfast was very adequate and quickly served. The location is excellent. It is easier to walk to Lydia's baptismal site than drive, and the main sites of Philippi and the archaeological museum are very close by.

Cons:

The shower is pretty small. However, this may bother Americans more than Europeans. I also like my food served hot, but I believe not doing so is a cultural phenomenon in Greece, so the hotel shouldn't be blamed.

Please update your shower & sink, water takes very long to get hot, and plumbing needs to be fixed as water goes in all directions, also impossible to fit shower head in fitting

Pros:

Location was perfect for visiting the ancient city of Philippi. No problem parking. Traditional family hotel and has lovely areas for sitting outside in the courtyard. People were very friendly and check in and out were a breeze.

Cons:

Rooms have a few updates (minisplit AC & newer TV), but the rest of the room had the old-fashioned, well worn vibe. The breakfast was mostly various dry breads, an egg & coffee, and I wished there were some fresher options.
