A perfect Gasthof at a perfect location
Pros:

We stayed for a ski trip and everything in this hotel was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk from the Gondola; the room was so welcoming and big with a balcony overlooking the river, the breakfast was rich and full of fresh local ingredients, the hotel restaurant is one of the best in Mayrhofen and the staff was very helpful. On the last day, since we went to ski after check out, they let us use the showers before we left. We will definitely come back to stay here!

It was OK
Pros:

Location is good and bad…. Close to both gondolas and right in town which is great but also bad as it’s right next door to the main apres ski pub in town. Although you can’t hear any sound come through, you can definitely hear the drunk people throughout the night.
Also, if it has snowed the snow machines comes very early (5.30-6am)to clear up right outside on the carpark which is not pleasant.
Restaurant is good, the “butcher bar” is good too and a bit more casual for a drink or some food.
Sauna and steam room are very nice and clean, great to hang out after a day of skiing.

Cons:

As per above… the noise is not pleasant. Also the rooms are super warm even after turning off all heaters so to make it bearable we had to open the window a bit which obviously doesn’t help with the noise from outside.
Some of the front desk staff, if there was anybody in the first place, are not very friendly or helpful.

Teleurgesteld, bij aankomst enthousiast tot dat je op de kamers komt.
Pros:

De plek, de uitstraling van de buitenkant en het restaurant.

Cons:

De kamers zijn zeer gedateerd, vergeeld douche krukje, witter vergeelde bekers bij de wastafel, een douche waar je je niet kan keren, etc. Werkelijk alles was verouderd en het stonk ontzettend naar riool.
