Schöner Aufenthalt mit leider horrend teurer E-Ladestation!
Pros:

Die Lage an der Donau war sehr schön und angenehm.
Das Zimmer war auch sehr angenehm und schön
Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und fein

Cons:

Schade war dass nur eine E-Ladestation von beiden funktioniert hatte.
Zudem wurden horrende Platzgebühren verlangt was ich leider nicht lesen und herausfinden konnte.
Wichtig dass die Gäste darauf aufmerksam gemacht werden, schlussendlich stand dass die Parkplätze kostenlos sind.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Hotel direkt an der Donau
Pros:

Das große Seminar-Hotel befindet sich direkt an der Donau. Wir sind mit Fahrrad für 1 ÜN angereist. Da wir zur Hochsaison wetterabhängig kurzfristig gebucht hatten, sind wir hier gelandet (vieles bereits ausgebucht). Eigentlich wollten wir uns in Schlögen einquartieren. Insgesamt hat uns das Wesenufer Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Auffallend viel Personal waren für das Wohl der Gäste im Einsatz. Alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel macht einen neuwertigen Eindruck und ist sehr sauber. Fahrradstellplätze inkl. Lademöglichkeiten sind vorhanden und bis 21 Uhr zugänglich. Bei uns wurde es später, daher haben wir unsere E-Bikes ebenerdig auf den Balkon unseres Zimmers abgestellt. Sauna ist bis 22 Uhr geöffnet, wurde aber nicht von uns genutzt, daher kein weiterer Kommentar hierzu. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war gut, aber nicht besonders beeindruckend. Da hätten wir für den Preis mehr erwartet. Für ein Abendessen muss man frühzeitig ein Tisch reservieren. Spontan Entschlossene - wie wir - ziehen hier den Kürzeren. Die Terrasse war komplett ausgebucht. Daher sind wir nach Schlögen gefahren und konnten hier ohne Reservierung direkt in der 1. Reihe an der Donau sitzen und einen wunderschönen Abend genießen. Die Gastfreundlichkeit in Schlögen war inkl. Essen beeindruckend gut und sehr lecker. Der Preis war zudem sehr attraktiv. Hier haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Wesenufer Hotel war insgesamt sehr gut und ansprechend. Allerdings hatten wir das Gefühl, dass wir doch nur durchreisende, zahlende Gäste sind. Frühstück ist nur von 7:30 Uhr bis 9:30 Uhr. 10 Uhr muss bereits ausgecheckt sein. Das Empfinden wir nicht als besonders willkommen oder gastfreundlich. Die Klimaanlage war leider auch nicht die beste und nicht so zu regulieren, wie wir es gerne gehabt hätten. Bei über 30 Grad am Tag war uns die Einstellmöglichkeit der Klimaanlage zu gering und somit die Nacht zu warm.
Das Hotel war für unseren Geschmack etwas überteuert. Aber insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Die Auswahl vom Frühstück könnte attraktiver sein. Zudem die Frühstückszeiten (7:30 Uhr bis 9:30 Uhr) sowie Auscheckzeit (bis 10 Uhr). Die Klimaanlage war für uns zu schwach regulierbar und daher die Nacht etwas zu warm.

Pros:

Lovely clean, right on Danube bike path. Great bike parking and lovely grounds. Dining staff really nice.

Cons:

We asked to check out 20 minutes late. After 15 minutes, as moving out our luggage, they locked the door. Not a pleasant way to say goodbye.
