Pros:

When we arrived we checked in early however this was no problem for the staff at the hotel and our room was upgraded which was a nice surprise. The room was impeccable with the most amazing view and extremely clean. We had a balcony so we could sit and enjoy a drink whilst taking in the scenery. The hotel offers information on excursions and trips and a map of the area which is very helpful. The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. The location is brilliant with just a short walk into the town, also offering cable carts to the most amazing view on the mountain where we enjoyed a drink and the scenery.

Cons:

We would have liked to have done a boat ride however we were advised that either the boats or the boat house was under renovation so the boat trips were not running however this could have been due to the time we visited and not being within the right season.

Relaxing. Refreshing. Just what we needed.
Pros:

Incredible setting. Lovely large room with a view over the serene lake. Staff were fantastic. They couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you. Thoroughly recommended.

A warm, welcoming lakeside hotel with lovely staff, beautiful sunrises, and a stay that made us want to come back in sum
Pros:

We had a really wonderful stay at Seehotel Billroth. The hotel upgraded us for the last two nights so we could stay in the same room and they reserved a breakfast table with our names every morning, which felt very special. The staff were consistently warm and helpful, from reception through to the kitchen team at breakfast. The location is perfect, close to town with a stunning lake view and we woke up to beautiful sunrises every day. The hotel was cosy and warm and we loved the peaceful atmosphere and access to the lake and boathouse.

Cons:

There was honestly nothing major we didn’t like. If anything, it just made us wish we could have stayed longer and also experienced it in the summer season.

Incredible respite in the Lake Country!
Pros:

The setting is incredible on the Lake with a great view of the Lake Country mountains. Convenient to St Gilgen and all the restaurants it has to offer as well as the Cable Car and boats to tour the lake. The breakfast was perfect and the view again from the break fast area was incomparable.

Cons:

Nothing. WE loved this place!
