Book the breakfast with the bed, as it can be expensive if bought separately. The continental breakfast was nice and the cooked breakfast options plentiful.
The bed was comfortable, there was a separate bath in the room in font of the walk in shower which was unusual, but a nice option as you could watch the television whilst in the bath. Great selection in mini bar.
The shower tap was loose which made it hard to get the water the correct temperature.
Toilet flush was faulty.

Lacked space for our luggage in the bedroom and we didn't have vast quantities of bags. And room needed a bit of maintenance - nothing major.

Good location once you have found it! Guernsey roads are quite tricky to navigate. Hotel room was very spacious with good amenities including air conditioning, toiletries and lovely biscuits!
Duvet TOG was too heavy for hot Summer weather but that wasn't too much of a problem.
Let me start with highlighting how incredibly friendly and accommodating the we found all members of the hotel team. Despite being severely delayed on our incoming flight it would have been no hassle to check in later than planned. The breakfast is incredible with an extensive menu catering for all requirements.
The room we were allocated (upgrade very much appreciated) gave us space, a balcony area and all the facilities you could want. The comfiest of beds, plenty of storage space and the best rainfall shower.
In terms of convenience the bus stops to both St Peter's Port and the Airport are no more than 20 steps from the front door. While still being able to access places easily the hotel is in a quiet location where you really feel you can relax. Also, it is less than 10 minutes from the Airport but this causes no noise issues.
It is a beautiful building which blends modern facilities with a rural feel. All internal reception, bar and restaurant areas are comfortable and classy but without being formal. The outside pool terrace area is tranquil and having the pool only available to non-residents between 12-3 makes it feel like an exclusive resort. Again the staff are attentive and friendly.
I would highly recommend The Farmhouse for a stay in Guernsey.
