Good stay
Pros:

The location is perfect , next to the main road and all the food places. They provides a shuttle from and to the pier - which i didnt know but noticed this in the previous comments. The driver was there - just he had the board with chinese letters so struggled to see that obviously :) And there was a ton of people so my recommendation is to put english name of the hotel on the board , cause its a waste of the time for us and the driver. The staff is nice and helpful but does not speak any English, so prepare the google translate. They can also take you straight to bike rental which a must on the island.

Recommend and would stay again, but there is room for improvement
Pros:

Convenient location - Close to restaurants and convenience stores, and short distance from harbour.
Hosts are very nice and even though they don't speak English, it was possible to arrange everything with Google translate. They helped to book my ferry tickets, scooter, and provided a pick-up and drop-off service. Even gave me a ride to the ATM since they accept cash only as a payment option. I had no issues with scooter rental place, but it is more expensive than some other places on the island for the same scooter quality.

Cons:

Few things that could be easily and cheaply improved:
- Add a shower curtain so a person don't have to worry about spraying half of the bathroom while showering
- Add a rubber, brush, or sponge seal to close off the gap under the door

Small fridge could be added to the room, but there is a shared fridge at the first floor.
It is quite clean but I did find quite a few long hairs on bathroom floor and on the counter next to the bed. Also found two small cockroaches during my stay which is relatively normal for Taiwan, but should consider strengthening pest control.

This staff is helpful. The staff help us to organize transportation. Also, it is very near to the pier and there are lots of restaurants nearby.
