Kaltes Zimmer, schlechter Service – enttäuschender Aufenthalt!

Leider können wir hier nichts positives sagen.

Cons:

Wir hatten eine Nacht im Deluxe Doppelzimmer mit Poolblick gebucht und uns auf einen angenehmen Kurzaufenthalt gefreut. Schon beim Check-in wurde uns ohne weitere Begründung ein anderes Zimmer als gebucht zugewiesen, angeblich „wärmer“. Leider stellte sich sehr schnell heraus, dass auch dieses Zimmer ungeheizt und völlig kalt war.
Obwohl wir den Mangel sofort meldeten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Heizung erst ab 18 Uhr laufen würde. Als wir am späten Abend zurückkamen, war das Zimmer aber weiterhin viel zu kalt – gefühlt nur 15–17 Grad. Der Heizkörper war maximal lauwarm und die dünnen Sommerdecken waren absolut ungeeignet bei Außentemperaturen um 10 Grad und angekündigtem Frost in der Nacht.
Die Rezeption war nicht mehr besetzt und die angebliche 24/7-Hotline war keine Hilfe – im Gegenteil: Die Besitzerin legte mitten im Gespräch einfach auf, nahm den Anruf anschließend nicht mehr an und zeigte keinerlei Interesse an einer Lösung oder wenigstens Verständnis für die Situation.
Da es unmöglich war, dort zu schlafen, mussten wir mitten in der Nacht die Heimreise antreten. Wir konnten also keine der bezahlten Leistungen nutzen.
Fazit:
Unprofessioneller Umgang, keine Hilfsbereitschaft, kaltes Zimmer statt gebuchtem Komfort im "Romantikhotel". Wir würden dieses Hotel definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen.

Toller Platz in der Wachau!
Pros:

Wir haben wirklich sehr schöne Tage verbracht! Das Frühstück war toll, die Gastgeber sehr aufmerksam und uns wurde trotz Saisonende jeder Wunsch erfüllt.

Die Lage, direkt an der Donau

Cons:

Den Hund durfte man mit in das Restaurant nehmen, nicht an das Frühstücksbufett.
Ich verstehe Hygenevorschriften, aber dafür war der Hund im Zimmer und hat immer mal gebellt.
Sondersituation: Dem Hund sein Frauchen war kurz vorher gestorben und hatte noch Verlustängste

Ganz okay, werden aber eher nicht mehr kommen.
Pros:

Das Frühstück, die Einrichtung sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Haupthaus.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer im Nebengebäude war feucht und hat entsprechend schlecht gerochen. Die Fugen in der Dusche hatten Schimmel. Insgesamt hat man die Feuchtigkeit dort bemerkt.
