Arlberghaus

Goede ruime kamen voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Goed eten, en als de kinderen iets buiten het menu wilde was dat geen enkel probleem. Zeer fijn verblijf.

The hotel staff were nice and welcomed us with personal care and treatment.

The hotel facilities were beyond all expectations as well, and the food in the hotel was exceptionally good. One of the best all inclusive hotels I got to stay at.

The room and bathroom were very comfortable and spacious. Everything very clean. The hosts’ hospitality was supreme. We had a problem with our car and they were very eager to help solve it. My son forgot his gloves and they sent them to us by bus. Awesome stay!!! Fully recommendable

Gellert the waiter was always ready to do the best always with our food allergies.
Neus and Istvan at the reception where always very friendly and ready to help us and resolve any question.
Since we arrived Vytas the bellman, was incredibly helpful.
We were very surprised with the location, the good food and specially the service.

- location, exactly at the centre of town
- extremely clean
- superb service and hospitality of all the staff, they are so nice and observant to take care to clients including the seating plan, usage of different facilitities (thank them so much) (e.g. they were very observant and thought the group sitting next to our table may speak a bit loub and affect us, thus initiated to re-arrange table for us there and then)
- wide variety of food, particularly the breakfast, and salad bar and appertisers for dinner
- the alternation of dinner, we had tried formal 5 course dinner, meat fondue (i.e. similar to the chinese/japanese hotpot), grill meat dinner, rice roll and fish roll as appertiser (similar to sushi)
- ski rental just next to the hotel
- the wellness centre is not big but self sufficient and well aware of the need of sportsmen
- the Dutch tub (hot soak bath a bit like onsen) on the roof top (for additional fee) (thanks the staff for explaining in details to make sure we can enjoy the most, and yes, we did, that was one of the highlights)
- the room have lot of places for clothes, and sufficent electric sockets, window directly facing the slopes
- the history and recognition of the family of the hotel can be seen from the pictures, photos, and named bus stop right outside the hotel
- i personally enjoyed very much of the presentation of history of Zürs and the hotel by the family member of the hotel
- i did not have the chance to try all out but there are activities schudule on everyday, including video presentations of history or skiing of Arlberg /Zürs, wine tasting, skiing with the boss....

The Arlberghaus is a family run hotel, with exceptionally friendly staff, great food and a wonderful location. The buffet breakfasts were superb with a wide variety of hot and cold choices. The 6 course dinners were splendid with a variety of choices for the main entree. The ski lifts are very close and the whole Arlberg area is accessible from Zurs. The rooms were beautifully finished in a modern Austrian style, and the bathroom was large, up to date and spotlessly clean. The restaurant and Weinstube are delightful areas with traditional decor, and an added bonus was the many pre dinner activities hosted by the owner’s family.
