La piscine n'est pas réservé exclusivement aux clients de l'hôtel. Cela peut être compréhensible afin de rentabiliser le lieu.
Mais, lorsque l'hôtel est plein, il peut être difficile d'y trouver de la place...
The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. They were most helpful in arranging taxis for us whenever needed. Just €15 & 15 minutes to Matala.

Bel hôtel bien entretenu excepté la piscine qui nécessite un nettoyage quotidien car grande fréquentation
Pas beaucoup de choix au niveau du petit déjeuner... J'aurais aimé retrouver des olives du jus d'orange frais...etc Et non en brique... La piscine n'est pas nettoyée tout les jours nous étions les premiers et il y avait du sable et des cheveux... Dommage

There is a fundamental flaw in how they operate the pool.If you are staying somewhere else or stayed there before but hire a car from the hotel or have a drink there you can use the pool.So people not staying there get to use the pool and the residents like me can not get sun beds for my family….imagine staying there and you can’t get a sun bed because someone has bought a drink from the bar!It upset a lot of hotel guests.

Het was een heel mooi hotel zeker veel meer dan 2,sterren. Mooie kamer, lekker bed, heerlijk zwembad en je kunt er lekker eten. Meer heb je niet nodig.
Niks aan de accommodatie dat ons niet beviel. Alleen het gebied is wat minder interessant als je geen strand liefhebber bent.
This modern small hotel has comfortable rooms and a lovely swimming pool. It is short walking distance to the beach and beachfront restaurants. Kalamaki Beach is quiet and old-timey compared to Matala. The hotel is also in close driving distance to Phaestos and other sites. We even took a cooking class about a 20 minute drive from the hotel (Cretan Vibes). This hotel seems to cater to Germans - there was a group there staying for a few weeks!
The breakfast buffet next to the pool was rather skimpy. On our last day they ran out of yogurt - in Greece!! They did prepare eggs to order which is nice.
VERY comfortable and well designed complex which I suspect is one of the best facilities near the ancient Minoan city of Phaistos

I can't understand why this hotel is only rated 2 stars! It deserves at least 3 stars, if not 4. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the pillows are perfect—not too fluffy or too soft, which is a big deal for me. Our room had a fantastic view of the pool and a large balcony. The bathroom was a decent size, unlike many others that tend to be small. And the power shower? Absolutely loved it!
The location is ideal, just a 2-minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, which offer a great variety of fish, seafood, and meat dishes. Each room has a fridge, excellent air conditioning, and a smart TV. Breakfast includes fresh meats and cheese, or you can choose hot options like omelettes.
We enjoyed this hotel so much that we extended our stay by two nights. We initially planned to stay in Matala but found Kalamaki to be a hidden gem and one of our best discoveries ever. While Matala is nearby if you want to visit, we preferred the quieter, more relaxed atmosphere of Kalamaki. In my opinion, the beach here is much better. We might just make this our regular destination.
This hotel should at the very least be 4 stars. I really don't like that they have not been given higher status.
We, a family of four, had a great stay at this hotel. Everything felt new and very clean, well functioning silent aircon, good beds and great pool.
We would definitely return again.
