Coming from Leros we immediately noticed the difference in the quality of the stay and the island in general: clean, well kept and with all the services that you need in an island. The suite was nice, spacious and offering a nice outdoor with a sea view terrace at the top.
Room was silent, with AC and always super clean. 2 smart TVs to connect to your netflix account.
Maria the host was very professional and friendly, i can only recommend the stay here.
Bonus: there is a close by beach that is never crowded

We spent 4 wonderful days at 5 Traditional Suites and we would choose to stay there again any time. Everything is simply perfect, I couldn’t imagine a better time in Astypalea.
Great location, in between 2 beaches and with an easy access to Chora. Maria was a fantastic host, very helpful for all the questions we could have.

The room is comfortable and so elegantly designed, Livadi beach is so close, only 5 minutes walking distance.In the room most of the things you need is ready(coffee, various jams, crackers, etc). Upstairs, there is a balcony which provides a wonderful view of the castle and the sea.
We managed without a car and used the excellent 'move' service on the island. Fortunately there was a bus stop near by. The host was very welcoming and the room very attractive. There was a patio area and stiars leading to a balcony with deck chairs and a wonderful view.
It is perhaps worth saying a bit more about the bus service. The way it works is you pay so much per person and you get from 1 to a given number of rides (the one ride is a guest ride and you need two zones to get you from the port. We bought a deal with up to 16 rides of any length over 3 days. That was 30 euros each. You summon a car using the app and you can only book it from a designated bus stop and be prepared for other people to be picked up along the way. We waied a maximum of 20 mins for a ride and it was often much shorter. All the minbusses are electric.
it was a bit of a climb to the beach. The room being lovely to look at was a bit trecherous and you really needed to be careful descending the stairs at night. Likewise the steps to the balcony would not pass British health and safety. The bedroom had a very low ceiling which was fine for me at 5'9" but anyone taller would need to stoop.
Loved the hospitality, the facilities, the suite's decoration and aesthetic.

Beautiful views of the ocean. Light, airy and very well furnished. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We loved the location! The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The room is amazing, fully equipped to make your own breakfast, clean and very well decorated. We really enjoyed our stay and we will hopefully visit Astypalea again soon.
Everything was great except the mattress of the bed that was too soft for our taste.
Our suite was beautiful and we loved everything about it. Relaxing private balcony looking at a small beach in front of us. It was lovely waking up and listening to the waves outside our bedroom window. We had 2 beaches walking distance Livadi beach and another small beach in front which was accessible by a path and steps. Our host Maria was lovely she was always there and very hospitable. She arranged our pickup from airport and drop off to the port. Thank you for an amazing stay. We really loved Astypalia and will be back.
We loved the cleanness, the view and the beautiful decor of the suite. But most of all, Maria at the reception was exceptional. We had one of our best stays of our lives at this hotel thanks to the kindheartedness, assistance and welcoming spirit of this lady. Many thanks ro her & the wonderful team of the hotel!
