The worst experience of my life (and I have travelled across five continents).

The room looked nothing like the pictures. There were no towels, and an empty alcohol bottle was left in the room. It was dirty, with bedsheets stuck together with bodily fluids. The bed was covered with construction plastic, with only a thin sheet on top.

The air conditioning only worked at night and made an unbearable amount of noise. Other guests were drinking and shouting directly under our window until late at night.

What they call a shower barely had any water, and the toilet was dirty. Not a single member of staff spoke English.

We had booked three nights, but after the first night we literally ran away in the morning.

Behind the hotel is a slum area with no sewage system. During the day, vendors constantly harassed us even on the hotel terrace, and we could not leave our belongings unattended for even a second.

I feel completely ripped off because there was no possibility of getting even a partial refund for the unused nights. They refused even to compensate us for the transfer.

Booking.com should seriously reconsider its cooperation with a hotel like this. This place should never be advertised as suitable accommodation for tourists.

Il mare ha dei colori molto belli. La struttura si trova direttamente sulla spiaggia

Ci aspettavamo qualcosa in più, visto il prezzo non economico. La struttura è piuttosto rumorosa e durante il soggiorno alcuni ospiti hanno mangiato e bevuto sui lettini, creando parecchio disturbo sia di giorno che la sera. Il mare davanti è molto movimentato da barche e moto d’acqua. Il ristorante è caro e il servizio lento; la pressione dell’acqua nelle camere è appena sufficiente per lavarsi. Il wifi non prendeva mai.

Struttura situata direttamente sul mare, organizzata e pulita, con ristorante e bar aperti tutto il giorno. Camera con terrazzino vista mare.

Il ristorante è un po' caro ma comunque è molto buono e lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile.

Our stay at Coral Azul definitely made our vacation extra special. 😌👍 It is conveniently located between Playa Blanca and Playa Tranquilo on Barú, making it easy to explore both areas. 🇨🇴🏖 It features spacious shared areas, including the restaurant serving excellent food and cocktails, a terrace, and lounging areas with sunbeds. 🍹🍸🥃 They also prioritize sustainability, such as mindful water usage. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned, with sea views. 🌊🌅 It truly stands out thanks to its attentive and friendly staff. 🥰

Die Lage war perfekt, direkt am Strand mit eigenen Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren hervorragend. Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Die Einrichtung ist teilweise in die Jahre gekommen und der Standart ist dem Standort entsprechend.

Buena estadía!
Pros:

La ubicación frente a la playa y con reposeras, toallas de playa cada día, la atención y amabilidad de Sergio, cama cómoda, buen aire acondicionado (aunque restringido en horario: solo se puede usar de 5 pm a 10 am, lo que para nosotros estuvo bien). Teniendo en cuenta que Baru es un lugar precario en cuanto a infraestructura, este hotel es buenísimo y de los mejores en la zona. Tiene todo para disfrutar. La comida del restaurante es rica. También te gestionan el traslado hacia o desde Cartagena/Aeropuerto y cumple muy bien.

Cons:

Las chicas que estaban a la mañana al servir el desayuno eran bastante desatentas, se olvidaron dos de tres veces nuestro café, al final ni insistimos, porque venían una vez y después desaparecían. Recargo del 7% por pago con tarjeta, lo que aplicaba para el pago de la estadía, pero no para los consumos en el restaurante. En un lugar donde no hay cajeros y el monto suele ser alto esto me parece un exceso, a la vez de que no sé si es legal en Colombia (en Argentina no lo es, por ejemplo).
La ducha del baño era como un caño, no lo valoro negativamente, porque es un detalle mínimo, pero un plafoncito no estaría mal 😅

Pros:

Fuimos en temporada baja asi que durante unos dias fuimos los unicos huespedes en el lugar. Es de los mas lindos y completos de la zona, la habitacion tiene aire acondicionado y la vista al mar. Excelente la atencion de todo el staff, el desayuno incluido es bastante completo, tenes para elegir entre varias opciones y cafe disponible todo el dia. El restaurante tiene buenas opciones de comida y platos abundantes

La atención de todos fue maravillosa. En especial, la de Sergio que estuvo atento a todo lo que me hacia falta!
