Great Location and a decent room.
Pros:

Location is superb and staff were friendly.
Clean room.

Cons:

Going up the back stairs to gain entry in the evening with not much light.

Pros:

Great value for a budget stay and very friendly staff. Very close to Marine Parade, sea front and park.

Cons:

Night time access to room is via an unlit fire escape in a back yard, past bins. Fire escape needs lights. Back door typically remains unlocked, relying on your room door lock for security.

Pros:

The location is just right the bar is a real blast from the 1900s nice pint
We had to come home early as my is not well . We enjoyed. The time we had there and will go back at some time thanks

The location was good and close to the seafront and only a short walk from the shops. The railway station was only a short walk away, and the staff were very nice.

Cons:

No heating in the room, and it had single-glazed windows. The Wi-Fi did not work in the room; it was too far away. The room was not soundproof.

Great sausages and beans at breakfast. Friendly staff. No charge for parking.

None of the plugs worked in the room. The guy tried to fix it but couldn't. Terrible eggs. Cold hash browns.

It was good enough for the price.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable.
The price did not include breakfast.
The couple running the pub said they do not offer meals as that side of the business never recovered after covid.

Cons:

As the pub was closed in the daytime, we had to use the fire escape to leave the property in the mornings.
So the place would not suit people with disabilities.

Het hotel is erg centraal gelegen en de eigenaar is erg aardig. De kamer is basic maar voldoet prima. Het bed was één van de fijnste tijdens mijn vakantie! Fijn bedlinnen ook.

Helaas geen ontbijt of diner (alleen op zondagen).

Bathroom was tiny. The rear fire escape (the recommended entry/exit to the rooms) felt a little odd and not exactly secure.

Fun beach day, followed by great food and excellent service in the Victoria.
Pros:

Exceptional service from the young lady opening the pub and seeing to arrivals. Nothing was too much trouble.
Comfortable room, very clean.

Our room was a little tired.

Cons:

Mattress was awful. Room was small. Toilet seat was broken. Pillows smelt funny and were yellow under case. Had to leave door open to go loo. Pubes in shower tray. Tried to make request and never had reply from owner whos number given by booking.com or messages sent through booking. When i got there was told that apparently i'd cancelled, when i hadnt. Wouldnt come back

Great location over an old fashioned pub. Great bathroom and nice spacious clean room

Cons:

The bed was so uncomfortable....new mattresses are required. Room was very cold with no thermostat or heating available.
