Our second stay here and we will be back - great location , clean and comfortable.
Pros:

The location. It’s cleaner and comfortable. Staff are friendly. We enjoyed a drink in the pub.

Cons:

Pros:

Great location. Really helpful staff to show us to our room.

Cons:

The bed was so uncomfortable. It felt like it would fall apart when you rolled over, the mattress was also incredibly uncomfortable- a new mattress is required!

Pros:

Room was large, warm and very comfortable, with all the normal amenities available. Rachel, a member of staff met us and showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know about access, room timings, etc. The location of the Victoria was spot on, no more than 100 yards from the railway station or the main road running through Saltburn.

Cons:

We didn't like having to walk up 2 flights of stairs, but we were informed of this prior to arrival.

Didn't stay.
Pros:

The room/bathroom was clean

Cons:

Very basic, lots of stairs to the room, access and exit via steel fire escape, when pub closed.Portable electric radiator, only form of heating.
Consequently we didn't stay, found alternative accommodation.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay in a big room
Pros:

It was a HUGE room with the bed at one end and a living room type scenario with chairs around the TV at the other. After a long day of walking the bath was a real bonus (the only hotel on the trip to have a bath). The lady at the bar was very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Like pretty much every hotel on my trip, the room was heated by portable heaters. The radiators were off. Because every hotel did this, even the ones with working radiators that were off, there must be some cost savings rationale. The radiators being off meant I couldn't wash and dry clothes.
