Heerlijke gesprekken met onze host, met veel humor. Uitgebreide voorlichting over alle mogelijkheden in de buurt. Ook het contact met de andere gasten. Dat komt door de warme intieme setting van het restaurant

This is a wonderful place for a remote stay in Iceland with pretty easy access to see the Pufgins and other amazing sea
Pros:

The property is remote on a beautiful peninsula in northern Iceland. Surrounded by green pastures with sheep in them and beautiful views of a nearby beach you can walk to. The rooms are very cozy, clean and well lit with windows looking over the peninsula.

Drie nachten in een heerlijk ouderwets authentiek hotel
Pros:

Gesitueerd aan het eind van de wereld (zoals wel vaker in IJsland). Het hotel oogt ouderwets en jaren ‘50, beetje als een oud schooltje. Maar het is eigenlijk heel charmant: ouderwets maar knus, grote kamers met zitje, prima bed, goede badkamer. De eetzaal is in de oude gemeenschapszaal van de bewoners van de omgeving, interieur uit voorbije tijden, prachtig retro maar dan echt. De gastheer is een gentleman vol interessante verhalen over het leven hier vroeger. Dat maakte de ervaring echt authentiek - vraag hem vooral naar vroeger. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Avondeten is vast menu - bord eten en dessert, geen keuze, maar de gastvrouw kookt heerlijk.

Cons:

Verwacht niks moderns of hips. Lekker oud en ouderwets, authentiek, schoon, netjes, vriendelijk, persoonlijk.

Gemütliches, einfaches Hotel in den Westfjorden, über eine Schotterstraße zu erreichen und direkt auf dem Weg zu den Klippen von Látrabjarg. Schöner Ausblick auf Schafe und Meer. Sehr freundlicher Besitzer und gutes Frühstück mit frischem Brot, Croissants und leckerem Schokokuchen. Einfach schön und unkompliziert.

Beaucoup de charme. Très confortable.
Pros:

Très joli hôtel tenu par un couple âgé très engagé. Le temps s’y est arrêté dans les années 50’, mais le charme opère. Très bon diner. Petit-déjeuner un peu juste. Très bonne literie.
Il faut aimer être au bout du monde.

Hotel na poluotoku, do kojeg se dolazi nakon duže vožnje dovoljno širokim makadamom uz idilične pejzaže. U blizini i s pogledom na znamenitu plažu, do koje se može prošetatiIzvrsno mjesto za razgled cijelog poluotoka, crvene plaže, rezervata ptica na najzapadnijoj točki poluotoka. Izgled koji je skroman izvana vara, unutra iznimno udoban, dobro održavan i opremljen objekt. Za vratiti se ponovno.
