Everything. Amazing location, excellent room, wonderful dining experience. Fantastic host. Right on the road to bird cliffs. About 40 min drive. Don’t ignore the local museum nearby. It is well worth an hour of your time. Red sand beach is nearby as well.
Nothing. All was good. Don’t get concerned about how the property looks from the outside, it exists in a very harsh environment. What is inside is what counts.

Karl, the owner, was fabulous and made you feel at home the minute you arrived. The area around the property is gorgeous and Karl suggested places to go that weren't on my radar. Both the breakfast and dinner were great. Breakfast had a lot of variety and dinner was simple yet very tasty. Highly recommend.
I enjoyed everything. A few notes: It is remote and a decent drive everywhere, there is no gas for many kilometers. You are in the western fjords so to be expected. :)
In our 12-day visit to Iceland, this was our favorite stop. We stayed two nights, each with a terrific freshly cooked fish dinner in the wonderful, and historic, dining room. This is a part of Iceland that requires some effort and patience to get to. But that makes this Hotel all the more worthwhile. You are someplace that not everyone will make the effort to see. What made our stay truely memorable was our host, Karl, whose attention and friendliness made us feel special. Of our 5 accommodations in Iceland, Karl's personal involvement with us was unique and absolutely "made" the trip. The hotel is surrounded by absolutely stunning and a great jumping-off point for Latrabjarg. Can't say enough. Be well Karl!
Location is quiet and peaceful and our spotless room had a fantastic view. Breakfast was plentiful and they also serve dinner each night. The staff were pleasant and accommodating and the location was convenient to the areas we wanted to explore.
Our amazing host who found us a tire shop and also rescued us out of a ditch in our rental close to the hotel

Het is een perfecte locatie om naar de kliffen te rijden waar je de papegaaiduikers heel dichtbij kan zien!
De gastheer gaf ons de tip om na het avondeten te gaan: dit was een super goede tip! Ook hebben we lekker gegeten in het hotel.
Het hotel ligt erg afgelegen en is bereikbaar via een deels onverharde weg. Ook zijn er geen andere restaurants of een winkel in de nabije omgeving.
Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but looks can be deceiving! Rooms are quite large and very nice. The dining room is wonderful and I definitely recommend that you sign up for dinner when you arrive! Highly recommend!
The room was nice, hotel was close enough to puffin cliffs. Host was friendly.
View was of cars, not really ocean. Besides homemade bread, was hoping for a more icelandic breakfast.
